#1 MARVEL SPOTLIGHT ON CAPTAIN UNIVERSE #9 (MARVEL, 1980) Per CBR.com, “Symbiote Spider-Man Just Brought a Classic Marvel Villain Back From the Past” and that villain is Mister-E, who first appeared in this issue. Peter David is one of our all-time favorite writers. So, it’s nice of Donnie Cates to share some symbiote heat. It sold 50 copies, had a 7-day trend of 1,058% and had a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.6 and raws around $60.

#2 A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT #1 NIKO WALTER VARIANT (BEHEMOTH, 2020) The title lands TWO spots on the Top 10 this week. This variant sold 44 copies, had a 7-day trend of 416% and had a high sale of $29.99 for a raw copy.

#3 WONDER WOMAN ANNUAL #4 (DC, 2020 There is current speculation that the kids at the end of the issue could be the first appearances of several Future State characters, including Yara Flor aka (Brazilian) Future State Wonder Woman. It sold 80 copies, had a 7-day trend of 140% and had a high sale of $34.99 for a raw copy.

#4 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES THE LAST RONIN #1 (IDW, 2020) Seriously, the LAST RONIN is not slowing much. It sold 93 copies, had a 7-day trend of 98% and had a high sale of $65.79 for a high-grade raw copy (though most are selling for $30).

#5 A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT #1 (BEHEMOTH, 2020) Based on the 2014 horror film of the same name, the film was promoted as “The first Iranian vampire Western”. Since its appearance in the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, it has developed a growing cult following. This comic is an excellent adaptation of the film and sold 63 copies, had a 7-day trend of 97% and had a high sale of $34.99 for a high grade raw (most are selling for $15 currently).

#6 DARKHAWK #1 (MARVEL, 1991) Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton reported that DARKHAWK is in development for a Disney + series and lit a massive fire under Darkhawk’s first issue. It sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of 123% and had a high sale of $350 for a CGC 9.8.

#7 SPAWN #9 (IMAGE, 1993) A holdover from last week, there’s been a recent boost in sales and price for this first appearance of Angela. After a contentious lawsuit over the rights of the character, creator Neil Gaiman won and took her to Marvel where she was introduced as Thor’s sister in Age of Ultron #10. There are faint rumors about her possibly showing up in in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER or GUARDIANS #3. It sold 39 copies, had a 7-day trend of 108% and had a high sale of $139.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#8 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #53 TSANG 1:10 VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) This is simply the power of a great cover of Miles Morales. It sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of 65% and had a high sale of $25.99 for a CGC.

#9 STAR WARS ADVENTURES ANNUAL 2020 BROKENSHIRE 1:10 VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) Star Wars fans were all over this variant featuring IG-88. It sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 198% and had a high sale of $84.99 for a NM+ raw copy.
