#11 STAR WARS HEIR TO THE EMPIRE #1 (DARK HORSE, 1995) Yes, despite it being a runner up, this book is still incredibly hot. As you’ll see from the Top 10, recent content news and hot comic movement stole some of this book’s thunder. No worries, it still sold 37 copies (which just seems silly compared to the 500+ copies that Daredevil sold throughout all covers last week), had a 7-day trend of 115% and had a high sale of $1,508 for a CGC 9.8.

#12 FANTASTIC FOUR ROAD TRIP #1 MIKE DEL MUNDO VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) Like we’ve said before, sometimes a great cover is enough to move a book. And this is one fantastic cover. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 234% and had a high sale of $20 for a raw copy.

#13 AVENGERS #19 (MARVEL, 1965) Variety is reporting that actor Tony Dalton is confirmed to appear as the SWORDSMAN in the Disney+ HAWKEYE series. His first appearance in 1965’s AVENGERS #19 may not be the cheapest book to obtain (especially in high grade), it could be one of those dusty wall books at your LCS. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 218% and had a high sale of $2,150 for a CGC 9.6.

#14 YOUNG AVENGERS #1 (MARVEL, 2005) Recent set leaks confirmed Hailee Steinfeld playing the role of Kate Bishop in the HAWKEYE Disney+ series. Days later, Variety officially confirmed her role and reported that she would be joined by several other key Marvel roles (as noted throughout this section). Her first appearance as Kate Bishop is in this issue, YOUNG AVENGERS #1, which is seeing significant movement across all covers. This standard cover sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 125% and had a high sale of $405 for a CGC 9.8.

#15 TOXIC AVENGER #1 NEWSSTAND (MARVEL, 1991) Deadline is reporting that “Peter Dinklage To Star In Legendary’s ‘Toxic Avenger’ Reboot”. Keep an eye on his first appearance (link above) and 1st cover appearance in Marvel Age #98. It sold 10 copies, had a 7-day trend of 431% and had a high sale of $149 for a CGC 9.8.

#16 MILES MORALES SPIDER-MAN #21 SCHUMACHER 1:10 VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) Again, here’s a great cover that’s somewhat hard to find. It sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of 87% and had a high sale of $32.62 for a high-grade raw copy.

#17 STAR WARS THRAWN #1 (MARVEL, 2018) With a quick name drop on THE MANDALORIAN, this first issue of Thrawn is quickly climbing after his first appearance in HEIR TO THE EMPIRE #1 is now well outside most of our budgets. He’s been rumored to appear for a while, so we all had plenty of time to find a copy. It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 164% and had a high sale of $35 for a raw copy.

#18 INHUMANS #5 (MARVEL, 1999) Variety is reporting that actress Florence Pugh will return as the new BLACK WIDOW in Disney+’s HAWKEYE series. Her first appearance is in this issue of INHUMANS #5 (1999). Sales could have been larger if BLACK WIDOW had been released. However, many collectors are waiting to see how she does in the role… as she’ll have big shoes to fill with a lack of ScarJo. It sold 13 copies, had a 7-day trend of 280% and had a high sale of $374.95 for a CGC 9.8.

#19 HAWKEYE #9 (MARVEL, 2013) Variety is reporting that actress Fra Fee is confirmed to appear as Kazi in Disney+’s HAWKEYE series. Her first appearance is in this issue of Hawkeye #9 (which has already had a pricey 2nd print). It sold 22 copies, had a 7-day trend of 138% and had a high sale of $125 for a CGC 9.8.

#20 NAOMI #1 2ND PRINT (DC, 2019) While Naomi #1 dominated our TOP 10 alongside Daredevil this week, this 2nd print is only WAY down here due to low inventory, hence lower sales. The price hasn’t quite picked up yet either. However, as folks realize how hard this cover can be to track down, it should see more movement in price. Last week, it sold 12 copies, had a 7-day trend of 269% and had a high sale of $127 for a CGC 9.8.
