Here we are, last new comic delivery of the year. What a very strange year this one has been. Here is what is on tap this week. Small week, there could be surprises but not gonna load the list up with a bunch of things.
Ones to Watch
Batman Annual #5 Inhyuk Lee Cover – Origin of Clownhunter, with an awesome Inhyuk Lee cover.
Avengers #40 – the Phoenix force is looking for a new host. This has been something Avengers has been building to for a while. Very old school Secret Wars kind of feel to it. Check Mycomicshop for this one.
One and Done
Jinny Hex Special One Shot – First solo book for Jonah Hex’s great-great-granddaughter. First appearance of Three Eyed Jack. Could be a fun read.
Ghost Rider Return Of Vengeance One Shot – Vengeance is back. Love 90’s Ghost Rider and Vengeance was a big part of it. Sadly the ongoing series from last year ended as it was awesome.
Pick of the Week
Amazing Spider-Man #55 – awesome cover, sold out in many places, (Try Mycomicshop.com tonight). Already selling for more. This is a no brainer.
Asm 55A sold out at MCS. Must’ve hit it at the right time as I checked it out about 10 minutes ago and was in stock (bought it and a few other things).
I reserved a few copies of Devil’s Dominion #1(of 5[I think]) from Black Box Comics. I wasn’t interested, until I saw someone talking up the title, on YouTube. It may not be great speculation material, but it’ll be a HTF Indy, and I always like my chances, with those. I only spring for the ones that I don’t mind having to hold onto, though. #1 has a sweet cover, too.

Asked my LCS for 2 copies of ASM #55 sweet cover, terrible run….I think majority of DC/Marvel have been terrible or very much too long of runs but with great covers…I love DKDM but man those variant covers have me spending $25 each issue….glad it’s about to be over
I doubt my LCS will get it, but I will go after that Jinny Hex Design variant. Probably the only thing on my hit list this week. If I can’t find it, and one of you finds it at your LCS, I hope you text me so I can PayPAl you the $$ for you to pick it up for me. LOL.
