#11 THE MIGHTY THOR #1 MIKE DEODATO JR. HIP HOP VARIANT (MARVEL, 2015) If you hadn’t heard, the immensely respected masked rapper MF DOOM died back in October (though it was just reported last week). This Hip-Hop cover honors his 2004 MADVILLAINY sole studio album with his MADVILLAIN partner Madlib. Upon the news of his death, sales for this variant spiked, hitting a high of $70 raw. RIP Doom! It sold 10 copies, had a 7-day trend of 369% and had a high sale of $86 for a CGC 9.6.
#12 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #55 NICK SHUMACHER 1:10 VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) This nice PS5 game variant had some nice boosts from Pat Gleason’s super hot cover. This 1:10 variant sold 35 copies, had a 7-day trend of 101% and had a high sale of $19.99 for a raw copy (though copies have settled to $10).
#13 DAREDEVIL #25 (MARVEL, 2020) This first appearance of Elektra as Daredevil continued it’s drop in both copies sold and price and fell off the TOP 10. This week, it sold 32 copies, had a 7-day trend of 104% and had a high sale of $40 for a raw copy (though copies are trending around $30 currently).
#14 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS #8 (MARVEL, 1984) This long undervalued classic cover is officially no longer undervalued. Market prices have spiked in the past couple months. It’s moving really well and sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 124% and had a high sale of $550 for a CGC 9.8!
#15 SPIDER-VERSE #1 NAUCK WALMART VARIANT (MARVEL, 2019) The SEALED Walmart pack landed on our TOP 10 this week. Mostly due to many sellers flipping them in those packers. However, grading them is the way to go as seen by this week’s high sale of $185 for a CGC 9.8. It’s a great cover and also features the first appearance of Spider-Zero. It sold 25 copies and had a 7-day trend of 138%.
#16 FANTASTIC FOUR #353 (MARVEL, 1991) This first appearance of Mobius M Mobius (played by Owen Wilson in LOKI) made it to the #1 spot last week… and fell to this runner-up list. However, sales slowed but market prices are solid. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 108% and had a high sale of $66.65 for a NM+ raw copy.
#17 ICON #1 COLLECTOR’S POLYBAGGED EDITION (DC, 1993) This first appearance of ICON continues to sell well, following the development news surrounding STATIC. It sold 19 copies, had a 7-day trend of 141% and had a high sale of $299.99 for a CGC 9.8.
#18 A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT #2 NIKO WALTER (BEHEMOTH COMICS, 2020) This great/creepy variant is incredibly hard to find. Hence, collectors turned to on-line sales helping move 17 copies with a 7-day trend of 160% and had a high sale of $29.99 for a raw copy.
#19 DAREDEVIL #181 (MARVEL, 1982) It’s amazing how low prices hit with this death of Elektra. Her recent appearance as Daredevil brought renewed attention to her first appearance as well as this key issue. It sold 10 copies, had a 7-day trend of 245% and had a high sale of $175 for a CGC 9.8.
#20 AVENGERS EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES #40 JOSHUA CASSARA STORMBREAKERS VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) This 1-per store variant proved to be hard to find or overpriced at their LCS. SO, like other titles above, collectors had to turn to online sales. It sold 47 copies, had a 7-day trend of 48% and had a high sale of $30 for a raw copy (though copies have settled to about $15).
