Make sure to head over to CovrPrice.com for you comic Price Guides, Collection Management, and a lot more!

#10 SUPERMAN #4 | DC | 1986 It’s amazing what a good trailer can do. Despite us comic fans already knowing that Idris Elba was playing Bloodsport, it now takes fans to SEE the character on screen to be inspired to buy a key issue or first appearance. And that’s exactly what happened here. It sold 52 copies, had a 7-day trend of 123% and had a high sale of $212.50 for a CGC 9.8.

#9 HARLEY QUINN #1 YOSHITAKO AMANO LUNAR THANK YOU | DC | 2021 Lunar’s retailer THANK YOU green variant is surprisingly still selling well. Retailer thank you variants don’t often hold value, so this is pretty impressive. It sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 194% and had a high sale of $250 for a raw copy.

#8 X-MEN #4 | MARVEL | 1992 Well… OMEGA RED was rumored to appear in Episode 3 of THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, which didn’t happen. Speculation is STILL holding on to him appearing and putting money where their spec is. Omega’s first sold 82 copies, had a 7-day trend of 90% and had a high sale of $499.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#7 TRUTH RED, WHITE & BLACK #1 | MARVEL | 2015 This seven issue series had great early speculation, but recently catapulted into the spotlight with the introduction of (spoiler alert) Isaiah Bradley in the Disney+ series, ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’- one of 300 African American soldiers experimented on by the US Army in an attempt to create super soldiers. As soon as this lesser-known super soldier officially hit the TV screen, sales of issues in this series (including complete sets) have been flying off the eBay shelves… and haven’t stopped! It sold 66 copies, had a 7-day trend of 117% and had a high sale of $900 for a CGC 9.8.

#6 THE ULTIMATES #1 | MARVEL | 2015 This book has a lot going for it. First off, it’s the first ULTIMATE team appearance of Captain Marvel, Black Panther, America Chavez, Spectrum, and a rare appearance of Blue Marvel. Yet, this is trending specifically for the brief appearance of AYO from the Black Panther films within episode 3 of FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER. Her first appearance in this issue is moving (despite having appeared multiple times in the MCU before). It sold 22 copies, had a 7-day trend of 354% and had a high sale of $49.99 for a raw copy.

#5 THUNDERCATS #1 | MARVEL | 1985 As noted last week, Deadline reported that “‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’ Director Adam Wingard To Helm ‘ThunderCats’ Movie For Warner Bros”. While Nostalgia has recently taken sales to new heights, this news set sales on fire. It sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 287% and had a high sale of $1,599.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#4 THUNDERCATS #0 | WILDSTORM | 1975 Again, with the T-Cats getting a film, books like this Campbell cover are an easier book to find and a MUCH cheaper alternative than our #5 entry this week. It sold 45 copies, had a 7-day trend of 293% and had a high sale of $179.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#3 UNCANNY X-MEN #282 | MARVEL | 1991 This was an odd entry this week. Especially when we saw that it sold 104 copies, had a 7-day trend of 151% and had a high sale of $515 for a CGC 9.8! X-Men fever is heating up… and moving in strange directions. While early key issues are seeing spikes, first appearances for characters like Bishop, Dazzler, Havok, Rogue, Kitty Pride, Phoenix, etc. are all going for top dollar. Bishop’s speculation lies in his ability to time travel. And since that’s already been introduced into the MCU, fans think he may be in the first wave of mutants. We’ll see.

#2 STRANGE TALES #179 FEATURING WARLOCK | MARVEL | 1975 Behold, the first appearance of PIP THE TROLL. Sure, it may not be the book you’ve been hunting for… but it’s definitely trending thanks to rumors that he will appear in ETERNALS along with STARFOX. Of course, this should be taken with a grain of salt, but it sure moved and sold 61 copies, had a 7-day trend of 300% and had a high sale of $350 for a CGC 9.6.

#1 SHADECRAFT #1 | IMAGE | 2021 As previously noted, “Netflix Picks Up ‘Shadecraft’ From ‘Lucifer’ Showrunner Joe Henderson”. Since this news hit pre-release, it immediately had a spotlight on it. Typically, these pre-heaters can arrive DOA. However, we can’t throw SHADE at this new release as it bucked that trend and sold 78 copies, had a 7-day trend of 261% and had a high sale of $18 for a raw copy.
