#10 GEIGER #1 B&W THANK YOU VARIANT IMAGE | 2021 GEOFF JOHNS’ apocalyptic new series hit the market with a huge splash. It sold out and buyers rushed online to get their hands on this one-per-store cover. It sold 75 copies, had a 7-day trend of 74% and had a high sale of $83 for a raw copy. Keep an eye out for the Diamond UK Virgin B&W thank you variant. That copy is exceptionally tough to find, especially here in the U.S.

#9 BRZRKR #1 2ND PRINT FOIL BOOM | 2021 After this Keanu-based book was optioned, the market went after very specific covers… like the one-per store thank you cover. This foil variant is quickly trying to catch up to that issue as it sold 96 copies, had a 7-day trend of 65% and had a high sale of $280 for a CGC 9.6 (and $75 raw).

#8 GEIGER #1 JASON FABOK COVER B IMAGE | 2021 This book is moving across all covers. This may not be the most valuable, but it still sold 37 copies, had a 7-day trend of 201% and had a high sale of $42 for a CGC 9.8 presale ($11 raw).

#7 DEATH BY LIFE #1 ANTARCTIC PRESS | 2021 This new horror title from Antarctic press is receiving a lot of interest. Horror titles have made a huge resurgence in modern comics, yet many shops have not wised up to this… making in-shop copies VERY hard to find. Readers/collectors have had to turn to online sources like eBay, causing it to move 17 copies, had a 7-day trend of 447% and had a high sale of $30 for a raw copy.

#6 BRZRKR #1 3RD PRINT FOIL | BOOM | 2021 We don’t often get pre-orders on our Top 10. However, the 2nd print foil that landed in the #9 spot took many collectors by surprise… and they’re NOT going to miss the next one. So much so that it sold 42 copies, had a 7-day trend of 183% and had a high sale of $60 for a raw copy.

#5 SHADECRAFT #1 | IMAGE | 2021 As previously noted, “Netflix Picks Up ‘Shadecraft’ From ‘Lucifer’ Showrunner Joe Henderson”. Since this news hit pre-release, it immediately had a spotlight on it. Typically, these pre-heaters can arrive DOA. However, it continues to buck that trend and sold 67 copies, had a 7-day trend of 131% and had a high sale of $22 for a raw copy (up from $18 last week).

#4 ALL-NEW WOLVERINE #1 KERON DMX HIP HOP VARIANT | MARVEL | 2015 The unfortunate side of selling collectibles is when deaths are capitalized and sellers take advantage of a sudden surge of market interest. With DMX’s passing last Friday, comic collectors rushed online to buy this homage variant to his FLESH OF MY FLASH, BLOOD OF MY BLOOD 1998 album. Sales and prices spiked and sold 32 copies, had a 7-day trend of 323% and had a high sale of $510 for a CGC 9.8 (and $125 raw). RIP DMX!

#3 THE RISE #1 | HEAVY METAL | 2021 As noted in DEATH BY LIFE, interest in new Horror titles are a big trend right now. Though, most are WAY under ordered. Collectors/readers had to turn to online sites and helped this issue by George Romero’s son to move 63 copies, had a 7-day trend of 166% and had a high sale of $25 for a raw copy (though prices have settled to $10).

#2 ENIAC #2 | BAD IDEA | 2021 Bad Idea continues to create high market demand for these hard-to-find issues. This 2nd print is very tough to find in stores and therefore sold a large 144 copies online, giving it a 7-day trend of 104% and had a high sale of $51 for a raw copy.

#1 GEIGER #1 IMAGE | 2021 AND the standard cover for Geiger makes the #1 spot with 87 copies sold with a 7-day trend of 243% and had a high sale of $20 for a raw copy. It’ll be interesting to see how this issue does. As you all know, Geoff Johns is the head of DC Entertainment. So his ties to the entertainment industry run deep. Will this get optioned? Only time will tell

    1. Amen brother!

I have the All New Wolverine Hip-hop but as for the rest… I couldn’t give two $#!t’s about them. LOL

      1. I have been picking up copies of some of the books for cover and flipping for $20’s or more. So while it’s sometimes about not caring about some of them, I am buying books I care about with the profits.
