Returning Favorites
ENIAC #3 – Issue 1 was a spec hit, second issue was an awesome read, looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.

Star Wars High Republic Adventures #4 – Just great stories. Hasn’t popped yet but these are more a grab and hold for me. It does have a nice looking incentive variant (selling for about $15-$20.

New #1’s
Good Asian #1 – New Image series. Writer PORNSAK PICHETSHOTE’s long-awaited follow-up to the critically acclaimed INFIDEL with stunning art by ALEXANDRE TEFENKGI (OUTPOST ZERO)! Following Edison Hark-a haunted, self-loathing Chinese-American detective-on the trail of a killer in 1936 Chinatown, THE GOOD ASIAN is Chinatown noir starring the first generation of Americans to come of age under an immigration ban, the Chinese, as they’re besieged by rampant murders, abusive police, and a world that seemingly never changes.

Heroes Reborn #1 – New Marvel event series. Welcome to a world where Tony Stark never built an Iron Man armor. Where Thor is a hard-drinking atheist who despises hammers. Where Wakanda is dismissed as a myth. And where Captain America was never found in the ice because there were no Avengers to find him. Instead this world has always been protected by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Squadron Supreme of America. And now the Squadron faces an attack from some of their fiercest enemies, like Dr. Juggernaut, the Black Skull, the Silver Witch and Thanos with his Infinity Rings. But why is the Daywalker Blade the one man alive who seems to remember that the entire world has somehow been…reborn?

Star Wars War Of The Bounty Hunters Alpha #1 – Tons of cool covers for this one including the Black Armor Action Figure Variant. New crossover series going through all the Marvel Star Wars books.

Becstar #1 – New Small Press series from Mad Cave. Becstar is a star hopping mercenary-gone-full time-gambler light years away from Earth. Leaving her old life behind with the help of her magical luck dagger and her fan-turned-regret filled-friend Sally Soolin, Becstar ekes out a living under the nefarious Shadow Syndicate’s radar. But when a mysterious girl appears with grim news and an urgent quest where the fate of the universe hangs in the balance, Becstar has no choice but to join… and regret it immediately.

Broken Souls Ballad #1 – New Scout Series. Black Caravan Imprint. Saint Abigail’s Institute creates monsters – and those monsters are teenagers! The story begins as several teens discover that they possess out-of-the-ordinary abilities, in each case related to their psychosomatic conditions. The resulting trauma caused by this horrific discovery leads them to stray from their normal teenage lives; some to seek answers, others in a desperate attempt to escape their terrible fate. Meanwhile, a mysterious organization working for the government begins to track down the kids with the goal of ‘bringing them home. I am a big fan of Massimo Rosi’s work.

Eden #1 – New Aftershock one shot written by Cullen Bunn. Written by Cullen Bunn. Art and Cover by Dakbor Talajic. Tattoo artist Niles lives his life in a kind of daze. Minute after minute, he muddles through the repetitive moments of his job, his life and his guilt. All that changes when Eden walks through the doors of the tattoo shop. She’s looking for something…different…and she finds it with Niles. But Eden is a woman surrounded by deep mysteries…not the least of which is how and why her new tattoos vanish after only a few days. As Niles learns more about Eden, he is driven to fathomless depths of both love and horror. There is also a Tony Harris Variant for this one.

Eve #1 – New Boom Studios book. For fans of Undiscovered Country and Little Bird comes a new adventure series from award-winning author Victor LaValle (Victor LaValle’s Destroyer) and rising-star artist Jo Mi-Gyeong (Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal) about a dangerous journey across a future dystopian America to save the world. When the ice caps melted, most of humanity was lost to the hidden disease that was released. Now, a mysterious girl named Eve has awoken in secret and must deal with a world that’s nothing like the virtual reality she was raised in. In order to save her real father, Eve must embark on a deadly quest across the country, but she has no idea of the threats that await her – or the price she will pay to restore life to a dying planet…

Marjorie Finnegan Temporal Criminal #1 – Awesome looking new series from AWA Studios and Garth Ennis. She’s Marjorie Finnegan. She’s a temporal criminal. What more do you need to know? Oh, all right then: all Marj wants to do is race up and down the time-lanes, stealing every shiny-gleamy-pretty-sparkly she can lay her hands on. But her larcenous trail from the Big Bang to the Ninety-fifth Reich has drawn the beady eye of the Temporal PD, whose number one Deputy Marshall is now hard on our heroine’s tail – and taking things extremely personally. Worse still, Marj’s worthless creep of an ex and his even scummier partner have seen an angle of their own in all this, and now intend to use her time-tech to change history for their own benefit. Marj’s only ally? A guy called Tim. And he’s just a head. I mean come on, what use is just a head…?!

VE Schwabs Extraordinary #0 – Ok this is a zero issue, however putting it on here because of its low price. (and it being the first issue in the series). BRAND NEW SERIES expands deeper into the world of Schwab’s critically acclaimed novels Vicious and Vengeful. Set in the years between VICIOUS and VENGEFUL, ‘ExtraOrdinary’ follows a teenage girl named Charlotte Tills who survives a bus crash and becomes EO-ExtraOrdinary, gaining the ability to see people’s deaths in reflective surfaces.
