PGX East Announces 9.8 Wednesdays

PGX East announced a first of its kind initiative, 9.8 Wednesdays. 9.8 Graded Comics the week of release.

Rob Pillsbury, President of PGX East sent over this info

I am proud to announce 9.8 Wednesday’s. Anything you want graded, every week, guaranteed. Yes these are guaranteed 9.8’s in PGX holders. (If the book arrives and you feel it is not a 9.8, simply return it for an exchange or refund.) The industry has been trying to successfully do this for 15 years and has been unable to do so at a reasonable price and with 60 day or less turnaround times. I will holder books each Wednesday and send them the first week of release. We want to make collectors happy with low prices and a satisfaction guarantee! No one is selling graded books for less and no one can come close to our turnaround times.

Send your subscription pull list to my assistant, Jackson Fields. Anytime you have a book come in and slabbed you will be sent an invoice to pay through paypal.
Pricing is:
9.8 – $40 ($5.99-$9.99 cover price)
9.8 – $35 (up to $4.99 cover price)
9.6 – $30
9.4 or lower $25
Ratio Variants will not be available automatically for subscription customers. You may inquire and reserve a copy ahead of time and they will be priced accordingly each week. For instance, Something is Killing the Children #16 1:50 Frison B&W variant, is $180 in hand. The 1:25 is $100.
Thank you to David Batts and the Fans of PGX Comics community. 🙏

At the Suncoast Comic Con this weekend we partnered with Cecil Grimes Cosplay and his crew of cosplayers. We are authenticating anything signed or sketched at Cecil’s table. Certified signed photos will be available to purchase at his table going forward.

I will talk to Cecil this morning about Megacon Orlando and being at his both witnessing and putting items in plastic with labels.

Cecil will be joining me at Big Apple Con in NY for September 25-26. We plan on hanging around NY for 10 days for the NYCC too. I will probably send holders to NY and holder books while I’m there and do onsite grading for Big Apple and offsite for NYCC.

Thank you CHU and Anthony Hammock!!!
