This version will focus on the Val-Zod Superman, who’s first cover appearance is this issue. Many details are unknown… like, if it’s a film or TV series… and whether the actor will play the central role. However, for now, Val-Zod key books are super hot. #5 MARVEL TEAM-UP ANNUAL #1 | MARVEL | 1976 Here’s a surprise entry to this week’s list. AND it’s not even connected to any content. This is simply a book that many comic influencers are calling undervalued due to it being the first “new” X-Men team (from Giant-Size X-Men #1) outside of any X-book AND the first time Spidey meets this new team (his first meeting of the X-Men is AVENGERS #11 from 1964). It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 387% and had a high sale of $179 for a CGC 9.0.

#4 THE KAIJU SCORE #1 | AFTERSHOCK | 2020 As noted, THE KAIJU SCORE is in development with Sony Pictures. That pushed its first issue to new heights. It sold 44 copies, had a 7-day trend of 233% and had a high sale of $199.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#1 STAR WARS THE HIGH REPUBLIC ADVENTURES #6 | IDW | 2021 Star Wars heat seems to be picking back up a bit with no Marvel Disney+ series to steal all the attention. This issue of High Republic Adventures #6 features the first appearance of Tal Bota, Leoz Gyasi, and Affie Hollow. It’s unknown where these characters will go in the Star Wars Universe, but the market sure is interested. It sold 61 copies, had a 7-day trend of 278% and had a high sale of $25 for a raw copy.
