#10 SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #1 LCSD FOIL | BOOM | 2019 With a series in development with Netflix, SIKTC continues to heat up the aftermarket. However, as noted before, with sales so high for the first print (and hard to find variants) eager buyers always turned to the most affordable. That helped this LCSD variant return to this week’s list by selling 22 copies with a 7-day trend of 128% and a high sale of $225 for a CGC 9.8.

#9 SHURI #1 | MARVEL | 2018 Rumors of Shuri taking the mantle of Blank Panther in the 2nd MCU film is stronger then ever lately. Collectors have been buying her first solo series #1 for a while now. However, with the recent rounds of rumors, the prices for this book shot up. It sold 10 copies, had a 7-day trend of 323% and had a high sale of $52 for a raw copy.

#8 SPAWN #1 | IMAGE | 1992 Spawn somehow keeps creeping on to our Top 10. In fact, this book is the #1 book across all our user’s collections. Yet, plenty of fans are still looking for copies as this book moves up in price. This week, it sold 28 copies, had a 7-day trend of 120% and had a high sale of $256 for a CGC 9.8.

#7 THE NICE HOUSE ON THE LAKE #1 | DC | 2021 James Tynion’s new series holds on the list AGAIN, for the 4th straight week. This book had an even higher surge in sales this week with 43 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 89% and had a high sale of $175 for a CGC 9.8.

#6 MARVEL NOW! POINT ONE #1 | MARVEL | 2012 Now here’s a new book on the list! This one is overdue as well. This issue features the first appearance of America Chavez in the Marvel 616 universe. It also features her in a more updated/younger look (that we recognize her as, compared to her first appearance in Vengeance #1). She also appears on the cover (granted it’s tiny). Collectors are recognizing this and picking up copies. It sold 30 copies, had a 7-day trend of 145% and had a high sale of $25 for a raw copy.

#5 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #209 | MARVEL | 1980 This issue features the first appearance of Calypso, a voodoo priestess (who played a key role in McFarlane’s SPIDER-MAN: TORMENT storyline). As a love interest of Kraven in the comics, rumors are that actress Jodie Turner-Smith will take on the role for the Kraven film. This rumor helped this issue land on the #5 spot with 17 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 267% and had a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.2.

#4 SUB-MARINER #13 | MARVEL | 1969 This issue features the first appearance of Gargantos. While we haven’t even had a confirmation on Namor appearing, speculation has moved on to this book after rumors of actress Yenifer Molina playing the role of this very obscure character (who’s a squid by the way) in DOCTOR STRANGE: MVOM. This rumor suddenly sold 17 copies, had a 7-day trend of 309% and had a high sale of $237.50 for a CGC 9.2. You can read more about this rumor here at Comicbook.com.

#3 STAR WARS THE HIGH REPUBLIC ADVENTURES #6 | IDW | 2021 This issue of High Republic Adventures #6, featuring the first appearance of Tal Bota, Leoz Gyasi, and Affie Hollow, is a holdover from last week at the #1 position. #2 MOON KNIGHT #3 | MARVEL | 1980 This issue is the first appearance of MIDNIGHT MAN, who’s rumored to appear in the Disney+ series, played by French actor Gaspard Ulliel. While it’s said that actor Ethan Hawke will take on the role of the series main villain (unconfirmed who), it’s unknown how large of a role Midnight Man will play. Regardless, this news lit a fire under his first appearance in this issue. The direct edition sold 16 copies, had a 7-day trend of 363% and had a high sale of $950 for a CGC 9.8.
