#11 SUPERBOY #9 | DC | 1994 The new SUICIDE SQUAD film by James Gunn is well received. King Shark was a bright spot as the film’s more comedic (and violent) moments. It sold 36 copies, had a 7-day trend of 104% and had a high sale of $35 for a raw copy.

#14 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS #4 | MARVEL | 1984 Sometimes even we don’t know why a book suddenly sells. This is one of those. The issues recently sold a flurry of copies over the past several weeks, with the brunt over this week with 14 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 259% and a high sale of $64 for a CGC 9.4. The most notable first in this issue is the character ZSAJI, who saved several of the Marvel Heroes during Secret Wars.

#15 MOON KNIGHT #3 NEWSSTAND | MARVEL | 1980 This issue is the first appearance of MIDNIGHT MAN, who’s rumoured to appear in the Disney+ series, played by French actor Gaspard Ulliel. While it’s said that actor Ethan Hawke will take on the role of the series main villain (unconfired who), it’s unknown how large of a role Midnight Man will play. Regardless, this news lit a fire under his first appearance in this issue. The newsstand edition sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 127% and had a high sale of $100 for a raw copy.

#16 EXILES #3| MARVEL | 2018 It’s clear that Peggy Carter’s appearance in the upcoming Disney+ WHAT IF series is going to be fun to watch. Powered by the Super Soldier serum, her first appearance as Captain America is in this issue… with both an appearance on the standard cover and this 1:10 variant. Despite her title being Captain Britain in the show, collector’s still are pushing this book to a new high sale of $189.99 for a CGC 9.8, where it sold 35 copies, and had a 7-day trend of 89%.

#17 VENOM LETHAL PROTECTOR #5 | MARVEL | 1993 This issue features the first full appearance of Phage, Lasher, Riot & Agony. Marvel’s current “Extreme Carnage” storyline gives each of these Venom offspring a spotlight. So far, we’ve seen solo issues for Scream, Phage, and Lasher. These redesigns and spotlights are bringing a renewed interest in the characters, moving 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 134% and had a high sale of $199.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#18 NOT ALL ROBOTS #1 | ARTISTS WRITERS & ARTISANS INC | 2021 AWA has deep Hollywood connections. In fact, they recently started their own Film & TV development division. It’s clear that many of their titles are being created and developed for content, as seen with recent content announcements for CHARIOT. For this reason (in addition to being great comics), many collectors have now added AWA titles to their regular pick-ups… despite being difficult to find in stores. This new series by Mark Russell and Mike Deodato Jr. sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102% and had a high sale of $13.80 for a raw copy.
