Poyo’s FOC Highlight Books for Last Call January 30th/31st 2022 ?

FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering.

Devil’s Reign Moon Knight #1 is my own must, as a huge Moon Knight fan. Love the moon phases on the back wall..

I’m digging the Yu variant as well: Devil’s Reign Moon Knight #1 (Yu Variant)

Hulk #3 (2nd Ptg Ottley Variant) gets the second print treatment with a slightly altered cover. Might be worthy of a grab since we all know in today’s comic book world, additional printings are better than the first prints (when it comes to scarcity + demand).

Moon Knight #9 is just an awesome cover. Even if I wasn’t a Moon Knight fan, I’d pick this up just because I love the optical illusion images.

Moon Knight #9 Simmonds 1:25 Variant

Star Wars #21 is always a must pickup. I’m just buying all Star Wars. Make great long term holds as each issue has potential even with the obscure characters that might pop up in a future show or episode.

I also love the regular cover, incorporating Vader’s helmet is just classic!

Star Wars #21 (Pagulayan Variant)
Star Wars #21 (Christopher Action Figure Variant)
Star Wars #21 (Sprouse Lucasfilm 50th Variant) – For you Mando fans for first appearances (cover appearance too).

Strange #1 gives us the new Sorcerer Supreme.

Strange #1 (Artgerm Variant)
Strange #1 (Manna Carnage Forever Variant)

Strange #1

Strange Academy #15 (2nd Ptg Ramos Variant) is a worthy pickup I think. Love this cover.

Venom #4 (2nd Ptg Hitch Variant) gets a second printing despite a lot of shops still having the first prints available.

TFAW has the Venom #4 (Yardin Classic Homage Variant) back in stock again along with Venom #4 first printing still being available.

Even the Venom #4 (Jonboy Variant) ratio is available.

IDW’s reign on the Adventures title for High Republic is coming to an end but that’s not going to stop me from grabbing Star Wars High Republic Adventures #13, which has been the best High Republic story for me thus far out of them all.

Step by Bloody Step #1 (of 4) (Cover A – Bergara) sounds interesting if the writing is top notch. I got an advance preview copy I hope to read before this one is released. I’m not a fan of the “no memory” in plot lines as it’s overused so they better do a good job writing around such thing to win me over.

Did you buy the first go round of Something Is Killing Children Deluxe Ed Slipcase HC Book 01? Well, if you did, I’m sure you’re super stoked to see this get a 2nd printing. Gotta love those broken promises right? You all should have known BOOM! would keep their word since they’ve done this in the past before with claims of “final printing” yet then do another printing.

Killer Affairs of State #1 (of 6) (Cover A – Jacamon) is going to be a Netflix film. So could be a nice pickup if the show is successful, some watchers might seek these out.

Killer Affairs of State #1 (of 6) (Cover B – Meyers) – Best Cover out of these I think.
Killer Affairs of State #1 (of 6) (Cover F – Bg Variant) Yoon

Duel #1 (of 10) (2nd Ptg) is a book I highlighted way back in Novembers Previews. I just love the story concept and just love a good indie title. So if you missed the first printing, here’s your chance. Seems the first prints are catching potential demand with heat but I’m in it for the read, not the flip.

Duel #1 (of 10) (2nd Ptg)

In His Own Image #1 (of 3) (Cover A – Schiavoni) comes off as a potential good read. I really like the plot concept.

In His Own Image #1 (of 3) (Cover A - Schiavoni)

For you horror fans, Pentagram of Horror #1 might be a nice pickup. For the read, I expect zero heat or spec on these stand alone stories.
