#11 BLACK ADAM #1 LUCIO PARRILLO FOIL (1:100) | DC | 2022
With the recent trailer debut, Black Adam has been in the spotlight, and his film-like appearance is highlighted in this beautifully illustrated Parrillo cover. Aside from being a 1:100 ratio cover, it is also the first appearance of Black Adam’s successor, Malik White. Fan reception has been mostly positive to Malik, with many anticipating his first cover appearance in Black Adam 2. We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 80%, with a high sale of $168.50 for a raw copy.

The Spot returns! This book is the villain’s second appearance and first cover appearance (and probably the most iconic cover in a short list of cover appearances). We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 139%, with a high sale of $200 for a CBCS 9.6.

The debut of Tosin sent the collective fandom into a frenzy. With rumors that Tosin was to be the next “Miles Morales,” the first printings of this book flew off the shelves, and it wasn’t long before a second printing was announced. This second printing marks the first official cover appearance of Tosin. A raw copy last sold for $15, while CGC 9.8 copies sell for an average of $132, a decent value gap between the two. We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 110%, with a high sale of $170 for a CGC 9.8.

#14 WONDER MAN #1 | MARVEL | 1986
Amongst all the Wonder Man spec, another Wonder Man first issue (this particular issue featuring a fantastic 1986 Bill Sienkiewicz cover) falls from the Top 10 to the runner-ups. This first Wonder Man solo one-shot sold 49 copies, at a 7-day trend of 176%, with a high sale of $34 for a raw copy.

#15 SPAWN #38 | IMAGE | 1995
After years of rumors and hints, McFarlane Films has announced they will be developing an adult animated series with wiip, titled RAW10. This series is set to focus on cyber-enhanced animal characters like Fren-Z, Battlesnake, and Cy-Gor. Cy-Gor first debuted in SPAWN 38; however, RAW10 is stated to be separate from the SPAWN universe. Nevertheless, this book has still seen a massive spike in popularity. We tracked 27 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 112%, with a high sale of $40 for a raw copy.

#16 THOR #1 | MARVEL | 2014
This first cover appearance of Jane Foster as Thor was once a repeat resident of our Top 10, and now it’s living here in the runner-up list. We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 94%, with a high sale of $275 for a CGC 9.8.

Deadline recently announced that “Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’ Movie Taps Jake Schreier As Director.” This officially confirms the team’s MCU entry and immediately sets a fire under their first appearance of INCREDIBLE HULK #449. #18 AVENGERS #9 | MARVEL | 1964
Big Marvel news dropped this week in the shape of a Wonder Man series rumored to be under development at Disney+. Of course, with that news, the first appearance and origin of Wonder Man have shot up into the top 10 list! The series is set to be produced by Shang-Chi’s Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Andrew Guest. While additional information is limited, this news hasn’t stopped people from jumping on the Wonder Man spec. We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 109%, with a high sale of $10K for a CGC 9.2.

#19 X-MEN #12 ARTHUR ADAMS (1:25) | MARVEL | 2022
Art Adams is a prolific cover artist at Marvel. Likewise, Rogue is one of the most popular mutants in the X-Men. Put these two legends together, and you get a highly sought-after cover. This 1:25 ratio cover has been steadily increasing in value, with some high sales reaching $50 for a raw copy. Although, the current raw FMV is currently $27. We tracked 37 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 71%.

Miles Mania appears to be picking up steam once again after the Spot was spotted battling Spider-Man. The first appearance and first print of Miles Morales is one of the most expensive and sought-after modern comic books. Collectors continue to shell out for this book, pushing it and subsequent printings (including the 1:25 Djurdjevic variant, which went for over $40k!) and even a facsimile edition to sustained growth and stability. While that 1:25 is out of reach for most, this modern grail is much more attainable. This week we tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 82%, with a high sale of $3K for a raw copy.
