#11 SPIDER-MAN THE LOST YEARS #1 | MARVEL | 1995
This book popped up on our lists for months in the run-up to the debut of the Hallow’s Eve solo series. The reason is it features the first appearance of Elizabeth Tyne, AKA Janine Godbe, the alter ego of Hallow’s Eve. The reception of her solo run has been positive, with many fans visiting the aftermarket to secure her ‘first appearance.’ That trend continues as fans return to the book once again! #12 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS #1 | MARVEL | 1984
While this book continues to fall from its prime spot at #2 on our Top Ten, it’s maintaining some heat. It marked the beginning of one of the most popular comic runs from the 80s. It also shares a title with a future Marvel film in SECRET WARS (although no one is positive Marvel will adapt this run specifically). It also introduced the fanbase to the Beyonder, a character with tremendous potential and one the community is watching closely. We tracked 13 copies with a 7-day trend of 133% and a high sale of $470 for a CGC 9.8 copy with a VF FMV of $40.

In the end credit scene, we got a glimpse of a horrified Loki encountering a Kang variant by the name of Victor Timely. First appearing in this book, he saw a massive jump in popularity when the film was released, but it cooling down as time passed. #17 STAR WARS THE MANDALORIAN #8 TERRY DODSON (1:50) | MARVEL | 2023
The Mandalorian remains hot as fans are thrilled the show has returned. Grogu has been a key factor in both episodes released to date, and this 1:50 Dodson variant reminds many of where it all began. It features our little green buddy striking the pose that queued everyone in on his force sensitivity. Now with THE LAST OF US concluded, many will focus their full attention back on the Mandalorian and potentially this book.
