As promised, the Covrprice.com runners-up list. The second half of the Top 20.

#11 SPIDER-MAN #8 – MARK BAGLEY – REGULAR | MARVEL | 2023
Ah, yes, more Spider-Boy! But this is the 2nd appearance of Spider-Boy, and it’s coming in second to his first appearance. This book is fading slightly compared to its first appearance and cover. Still, it was a chance for those who missed out on the first appearance to still get in on the action and are still making moves. We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 107%, with a high sale of $69.88 for a CGC 9.8 copy and an NM FMV of $13.

#12 WARLOCK AND THE INFINITY WATCH #1 | MARVEL | 1992
Well, the MCU now has Adam Warlock and the Living Tribunal, two essential factors to the storyline of this book. With the MCU staying “cosmic” for the foreseeable future, it will be interesting to see if they put their eggs in the Will Poulter-led Warlock basket. We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 132%, with a high sale of $45.99 for a CGC 9.4 and a current raw NM FMV of $7.

#13 STAR WARS: HEIR TO THE EMPIRE #1 | DARK HORSE |1995
This book has cooled off slightly from last week, but get used to seeing it as ASHOKA draws closer. The barrage of marketing material featuring this book’s prime character, Grand Admiral Thrawn, will be hard to ignore. He’s incredibly popular, and bringing him to the silver screen will be an event. Before that can happen, collectors everywhere aim to acquire a copy of his first appearance. We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 125%, with a high sale of $936 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a raw NM FMV of $115.

#14 CAPTAIN AMERICA #310 – DIRECT EDITION | MARVEL | 1985
We featured this book in our Top 10 last week due to leaks around CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER. Wrestler Seth Rollins was recently cast as a member of the Serpent Society for the film. This book features the Serpent Society, comprised of Cottonmouth, Bushmaster II, Asp, Black Mamba, Sidewinder, Constrictor, Cobra, Rattler, and Anaconda. It also features the first appearance of Diamondback, rumored to have recently been cast. We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 119%, with a high sale of $101 for a CGC 9.4 and an NM FMV of $24.

#15 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #194 | MARVEL | 1979
This book is never far from the limelight, as it features the first appearance of Black Cat, the often anti-hero love interest of Spider-Man. Of course, there are more eyes on the character as of late due to the, well, uproar that is going around the most recent run. Some aren’t happy and could lead the charge to acquire this Black Cat debut. We tracked 10 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 163%, with a high sale of $2,800 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw FMV of $308.

#16 WOLVERINE #1 | MARVEL | 1982
Arguably the second most famous and iconic Wolverine book outside Hulk #181, collectors everywhere aim to include it in their PC. It marks the first step for Wolverine on the road to an ongoing series of his own, and this mini-series has been in high demand since its launch. “I’m the best there is at what I do,” debuted in this book, and it is FULL of dope one-liners just like it. Add the incredible cover and art, and you have a book that withstands the test of time. We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 83%, with a high sale of $431 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $44.

#17 JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #1 | MARVEL | 1972
After months of no news regarding AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS, a rumor recently came out that jumpstarted interest once again. It’s circulating that Aubrey Plaza has been cast as Death in the upcoming Disney+ series, and boom, Death’s first appearance pops up on one of our lists. Death just so happens to be one of the more powerful entities in Marvel comics and the love interest of Thanos, everyone’s favorite purple dude. We tracked 10 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 171%, with a high sale of $49.99 for a CGC 6.5 and a raw NM FMV of $50.

#18 NEW X-MEN #115 | MARVEL | 2001

#19 DAREDEVIL #183 – DIRECT EDITION | MARVEL | 1982
For a few weeks, this book was on fire! It went ballistic after it was announced that John Bernthal would return for DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN. Then, it quieted down as the writer’s strike began to develop. Many were fearful the show would be put on hold. Then it was. Some decided now was the time to pick up THE showdown between the Punisher and Daredevil, their first of many and arguably most famous. We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 118%, with a high sale of $264 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a raw NM FMV of $33.

#20 ROM #1 | MARVEL | 1979
Rom: Spaceknight has a fair bit of fans. Enough that Marvel decided to partner with Hasbro to bring a facsimile for issue #1 and a reprint of the original series as a collected work. It inspired some to acquire the actual first appearance of Rom before those new iterations hit the shelves. We tracked 18 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 86%, with a high sale of $260 for a CGC 9.8 and a current NM raw FMV of $40.
