Could Kamala Khan be the first mutant to debut in the MCU? Many fans think so, especially with Ms. Marvel’s latest comic plot. After the death of Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan has been reborn as a mutant. This change has fueled the fire that Kamala Khan is the beginning of the X-Men in the MCU. If it is true, this book holds a bit of significance, as it is the first appearance of Ms. Marvel as a mutant. Throw in a legendary artist like Arthur Adams and make this cover a retailer incentive; you’ve got a recipe for a highly collectible comic cover. #12 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS VOL.1 #8 – DIRECT EDITION
As Spidey swings through the city, this book continues to swing through our top lists. This book is a key moment and cover in Spider-Man’s history. It is the origin of the infamous symbiote that becomes Peter’s black suit and, later, Venom. This will be a constant in our top lists as fans continue anticipating any storylines that tie to the symbiote in the MCU. We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 110%, with a high sale of $600 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of 154.

#13 SPAWN #1
Spawn is another continuous bestseller in the comic book kingdom. Whether a new project approaches or we hear more from his long-awaited movie, Spawn is always around. With enough copies in circulation, the debut issue of Spawn is a collector’s item that fans love to track down! We tracked 28 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 98%, with a high sale of $160 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $49.

#14 THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN VOL.1 #300
Another highly desirable Venom book is the debut of the villain/anti-hero himself! Venom has tons of multi-media appearances ahead of him. He is set to debut in the Spider-Man 2 video game, the final part of his trilogy of films, and possibly make an appearance in the MCU. With so much to look forward to, fans are picking this book up whenever the heat cools down. This book continues to move between our top ten and runners list every week. We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 118%, with a high sale of $3,800 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $688.

#15 THE DEVIL’S CUT #1 – BECKY CLOONAN (1:10)
This generation has a new set of legendary writers. THE DEVIL’S CUT brings together an anthology with icons like Scott Snyder, James Tynion iV, Mirka Andolfo, Brian Azzarell, and many more! Another unique part of this book is that this book is the first publication for a new publisher, DSTLRY. DSTLRY is the first publishing company founded/owned entirely by creators. In addition to creators owning a piece of the publishing company, they own their work wholly. This is a massive milestone for creator’s rights and a first step away from big publishing companies. Decades from now, this could be quite a historic book. We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 83%, with a high sale of $18.94 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $12.

#16 X-FACTOR VOL.1 #1
Deadpool 2 brought about the first iteration of the character Firefist. While it was a different iteration of the character entirely, it did show the scope of Firefist’s immense power. This issue of X-Factor is home to the first appearance of Firefist (Rusty Collins) and Cameron Hodge and has been picking up heat. We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 73%, with a high sale of $115 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $9.

#17 KNIGHT TERRORS: HARLEY QUINN #2 – DERRICK CHEW (1:25)
Knight Terrors delivers another hard-hitting cover! Derrick Chew knocks it out of the park with a devilishly twisted cover of the infamous Quinzel. Most retailer incentive covers from the Knight Terrors series have been taking off. Why wouldn’t one of the most popular DC ladies take off also? We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 108%, with a high sale of $30 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $15.

#18 THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN VOL.1 #121
Speaking of iconic covers in Spider-Man history, no collection is complete without the death of Gwen Stacy. This year marks the 50th anniversary of this historic moment in comic history. Earlier this year, we saw Marvel push a marketing plan that insinuated an upcoming comic death would have the same significance as Gwen Stacy’s death. That event was the death of Ms. Marvel, who was recently revived. Whether this carries the same importance or not is up to fans of Spider-Man. In the meantime, we tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 109%, with a high sale of $789.95 for a CGC 8.5 and a current raw NM FMV of $870.

#19 CATWOMAN: UNCOVERED #1 – BABS TARR (1:25)
DC has been putting out some highly desirable covers. Babs Tarr produced a beautiful Catwoman cover. This book has only been out for a week and has already picked up tons of heat. The aftermarket has been searching for more copies of this retailer incentive as fans attempt to add this cover to their collection. We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 66%, with a high sale of $26 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $20.

#20 WOLVERINE #27
Jim Lee is a world-renowned artist, writer, and, recently, President of DC Comics. He has given birth to many iconic covers for DC and Marvel. With Wolverine’s presence in Deadpool 3, it is no surprise that Wolverine covers have been flooding the aftermarket. This is a phenomenal piece of artwork and an icon of the 90s. Wolverine comes out in full force on this legendary cover. We tracked 15 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 97%, with a high sale of $150 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $20.
