New Series/#1’s
Bloodrik #1 – Image – I read the preview for this barbarian story and it was quirky and fun.
Dead Detective #1 – Blackbox Comics – While investigating the death of his partner, a detective discovers a portal to the afterlife. Reunited in the underworld, they must solve the mystery of a demonic cult-and save the city of Detroit from the forces of evil.
Our Bones Dust #1 – Image – A feral child equal parts predator and prey, navigates a nightmare landscape of brutality and blood inhabited by scattered cannibal tribes. An interesting place to poke around for a curious Artificial Intelligence.
Skeeters #1 – Cheesy 80’s style creature feature type horror book. Fun!
Star Wars High Republic Adventures Phase III #1 – Not much to say, new Star Wars series, heat has been off on SW’s for a bit, but still, may be worth grabbing.
Thunderbolts #1 – Marvel – A new Thunderbolts with a new team (of existing characters). I do like the Ski Chalet cover, as well as the Derrick Chew Black Widow.
Time Traveler Tales #1 – Dark Horse – Oliver has a problem-a time travel problem. Some mysterious force keeps throwing him through time, and this time he’s in the Wild West, rescuing… circus animals? But as crazy as that is, it’s only the beginning of his adventure.
One and Done
Stuff Of Nightmares Slay Ride #1 – a demented Saint Nick story… one who decks the halls with holiday horror, crafting a very merry macabre Christmas unlike any other!
