#11 THE MAXX #1 IMAGE | 1993
Last week, we saw DARKER IMAGE #1 hit the Top Ten list. This arrival to the Top Ten list was due to Channing Tatum taking to Instagram to share his enthusiasm for The Maxx film. This posting seemingly confirmed his casting in the lead role and also showed fans that the film was moving forward. However, as we mentioned last week, that issue was not the character’s first appearance. This issue is currently on our #11 spot because it is the first appearance of The Maxx. We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 143%, with a high sale of $123 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $11.

#12 STAR WARS: THRAWN ALLIANCES #1 PAUL RENAUD (1:25) MARVEL | 2024
Thrawn is one of the most popular villains in Star Wars lore. This book took only five days after its release to be a top seller. Renaud depicts two of the most sinister villains on the cover, menacingly commanding their armada. This cover is much more meaningful because this issue is the first time Anakin and Thrawn meet in continuity. This a great key issue and a stellar cover for collectors of Thrawn! We tracked 27 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 85%, with a high sale of $53 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $43.

#13 DARKER IMAGE #1 IMAGE | 1993
This book dropped two places since last week’s rankings. It is still on many collector’s radars, as we speculate the value will increase when more news is released on The Maxx production. For now, a very direct message from Channing Tatum on Instagram indicates that the movie is moving forward. While this is an early appearance of the character, make sure to pick up his first appearance in THE MAXX #1. The first appearance overtook this issue in this week’s rankings. We tracked 34 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 114%, with a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $3.

#14 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #30 MARVEL | 2001
This book is gaining speed thanks to the approaching release of Madame Web. It has been confirmed that Ezekiel will appear in the film, causing his first appearance to surge. Rumors are floating around that Madame Web’s early test screenings have yielded a positive response. However, early box office projections have indicated that the film may have a tough start, opening with the lowest box office among all of Sony’s Spider-Verse franchise. There is still plenty of time to see a change in numbers, and only time will tell if this issue of Spider-Man will hit new highs! We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 72%, with a high sale of $33 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $32.

#15 DAREDEVIL #11 RON GARNEY MARVEL | 2016
The Daredevil Born Again series has resumed production! As filming is underway, so are the individuals who will do anything to sneak a picture from behind the scenes. One leaked image was graffiti of the Kingpin, signed by The Muse. The rumors of The Muse appearing in the series’s first half now have supporting evidence! This new information has pushed fans to pick up copies of this villain’s first appearance. We tracked ten copies sold at a 7-day trend of 123%, with a high sale of $80 for an NM raw and a current raw NM FMV of $56.

#16 ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #1 TONY S. DANIEL (1:25) MARVEL | 2024
Tony Daniel portrays Spider-Man in a visual that would strike fear into the hearts of his enemies. He is beaten and bruised, but the determination in his pose shows you why he’s the hero that never backs down. This cover is the only retailer incentive on the top ten this week. It is likely due to the price being lower than the Cover A of this book. We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 113%, with a high sale of $40 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $28.

#17 ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #1 MATEUS MANHANINI – ULTIMATE SPECIAL MARVEL | 2024
More of the Ultimate Spider-Man takeover! This cover depicts the black-suited Spider-Man swinging through New York. However, this is not the symbiote suit that we all know. Is this a tease of a future costume? We’ll have to wait to find out! We tracked 18 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 135%, with a high sale of $56 for an NM+ raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $25.

#18 WONDER WOMAN #19 DC | 1988
Anya Chalotra has been cast to voice Circe in the upcoming production of the Creature Commandos. There aren’t as many leaks about the new DCU, but James Gunn is an avid X user and takes the time to update fans and answer questions. This update caused this book to spike now that rumors have been confirmed. It is an easy book to track down and an affordable key to acquire on the aftermarket. We tracked 18 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 127%, with a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.6 and a current raw NM FMV of $15.

#19 WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #36 MARVEL | 1988
El Muerto was a controversial movie announcement when Sony added it to their Spider-Man Universe slate. Many fans were divided on the choice to create a movie of such an obscure villain when Spider-Man sports one of the best superhero rogue galleries. The film was removed from the schedule in late summer, leading many fans to believe Sony canceled it. However, just a few days ago, Sony announced they would resume development in the project without Bad Bunny in the lead. With this announcement, all previous rumors have resurfaced, like the one where Tombstone was rumored to be the main villain. Until Sony updates the details on the project, we have no idea if this rumor is still valid. We tracked 12 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 188%, with a high sale of $350 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV or $29.

#20 NOVA #1 MARVEL| 1976
The rumor mill pumps up yet another book with the future prospects of the MCU. Back in December, it was reported that Marvel had started production on the Nova movie. This past week, we got another rumor that Ryan Gosling has spoken to Marvel about the Nova project. This news has no supporting evidence except that it comes from a notable leaker. A big name like Ryan Gosling has caused this issue to return to the spotlight in anticipation of any official news from Marvel Studios. We tracked 18 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 114%, a high sale of $910 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $100.
