#11 PEARL #1 DC | 2018
Per Variety, Amazon plans to adapt this IP about an assassin tattoo artist into a show after signing a first-look deal with Brian Michael Bendis. Bendis will write for the series, along with illustrator Michael Gaydos, who is also at the helm. With the heads of the title onboard, collectors are excited it will be faithfully adapted, and they showed that excitement through the aftermarket. We tracked 60 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 46%, with a high sale of $75 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $9.

#12 POWER GIRL #6 – DAN PANOSIAN (1:25) DC | 2024
The Power Girl fanbase is dedicated, and whenever a hot cover hits the market, it can quickly get out of hand. This 1:25 from Dan Panosian is the highest ratio variant released for this book and the object of many collectors’ eyes. Listings are all over the internet, starting at roughly $100, and collectors are paying up for this book over alternatives such as the foil cover. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 105%, with a high sale of $52 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $48.

#13 JINX #1 CALIBER PRESS | 1996
Beloved writer Brian Michael Bendis made news last week as he signed a first-look deal with Amazon to develop several properties. That includes this book focused on a female bounty hunter. The word is it’s already in development. That was all the green light many collectors needed to seek out a copy of this former $1 bin book. We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 239%, with a high sale of $15 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $14.

#14 CAPTAIN ATOM #1 DC | 1986
While this isn’t the first appearance of Captain Atom, it is the first appearance of his new costume and reintroduction of Nathanial Adam as Captain Atom to general audiences. Captain Atom is a complete badass and one of the underutilized juggernauts of the DC universe. The rumor mill has been churning, centered around the rumor that James Gunn aims to remedy that. He started an atomic firestorm when he posted pictures of Captain Atom #87 to his social media accounts, later confirming he was a big fan of the character. It’s unknown if that will translate to an appearance in the DCU, but an endorsement from Gunn himself doesn’t hurt the character’s chances. We tracked 21 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 117%, with a high sale of $160 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $17

#15 DEAD X-MEN #2 – CARMEN CARNERO (1:25) MARVEL | 2024
We’ve seen a few Dazzler-centric covers hitting our list lately, and this book is no different. Especially when Dazzler is one of the main characters in the title, rising from the dead after she lost her life on Krakoa. While the T-Swift as Dazzler rumors have calmed down as of late, she’s still a hot commodity on the aftermarket, and this is just another example of her recent star power. We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 127%, with a high sale of $50 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $43.

#16 JURASSIC LEAGUE #1 DC | 2022
Toward the end of February, a rumor began swirling that the Jurassic League could get the adaptation treatment, with an animated film reportedly in the works. The rumor is James Gunn will produce the film, which would be right in his wheelhouse. Who wouldn’t want to see the Justice League reimagined as dinosaurs on the big screen? We tracked 20 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 114%, with a high sale of $70 for a CGC 9.6 and a current raw NM FMV of $4.

#17 ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #1 MARVEL | 2004
The new Ultimate Universe has been all the rage lately. Well, The Maker has his fingerprints all over the inner workings of this new universe. The Maker’s first appearance was in this book, technically, as Reed Richards. However, he would not adopt that persona until Ultimate Fallout #4. With the Maker growing in popularity, many collectors are opting to revisit his origins. This book is much more tolerable, price-wise, than UF4, AND many collectors are banking on seeing a rebooted Ultimate Fantastic Four to go with the other recently rebooted Ultimate titles. We tracked 16 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 182%, with a high sale of $78.90 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $8.

#18 AVENGERS: TWILIGHT #2 – ALEX ROSS – REGULAR MARVEL | 2024
In issue #1, we got the first appearance of James Stark, Tony Stark’s son. This book gave us the first appearance of Ramona Jones, the new Bullseye. Issue #3 delivered the first appearance of James Stark in armor. Naturally, fans are continuing to snag copies of this book featuring an awesome depiction of ‘Iron Man’ from Alex Ross on the cover. The fervor it experienced on the aftermarket is slowly subsiding, but it’s still moving copies! We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 100%, with a high sale of $19.95 for an NM+ raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $14.

#19 WILLIAM GIBSON’S NEUROMANCER MARVEL | 1989
Apple TV has quietly stepped up its streaming game, bringing the masses epic titles like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Well, they’re at it again, recently announcing this adaptation of William Gibsons’ novel about a future dominated by technology with humans becoming complacent thanks to virtual reality. It sounds a bit like The Matrix, but with Apple’s track record, this could be an epic series to watch. We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 117%, with a high sale of $100 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $96.

#20 SPAWN #122 IMAGE | 1992
Spawn just hit a huge milestone, recently releasing its 350th issue! In it, the throne of Hell is up for grabs, and Nyx is up to the task. Some may recall Nyx as the former She-Spawn, but you’d have to go back to this book to see her debut. Of course, with Nyx set to take center stage going forward, the community was eager to return to her roots to snag her first appearance! We tracked nine copies sold at a 7-day trend of 45%, with a high sale of $110 for a CGC 9.6 and a current raw NM FMV of $47.
