New Series/#1’s
Akogun Brutalizer Of Gods #1 – In an age thought forgotten . . . when man, monster, and the divine all strode the Earth . . . a lone warrior emerges to test the immortality of the cruel gods who would deal destruction with impunity . . . He is a one-man reckoning that stands in defiance of his divine masters with a sword in hand and a thirst for godblood. His name: AKOGUN THE BRUTALIZER!

Can I Scream #1 – The debut collaboration of husband-and-wife comic book creators, Jonathan Hedrick & Francesca Fantini (Rebel Grrrls)! In this one-shot supernatural thriller with 32 pages of story (all killer, no filler!), Anne is trying to protect her 11-year-old son, Thomas, who has an ability to admit a deadly scream. To stay ahead of the secret government organization that is trying to find them, Anne and Thomas move from one town to the next, never staying anywhere too long. They live off the grid and assume fake identities when needed. Against her better judgment, Anne enrolls Thomas into a public school where his secret slips. This catches the attention of a covert team who want the young boy for their own corrupt use.

Deadpool #1 – Ninth Volume of Deadpool kicks off with a new #1 and a new creative team. New villain, Death Grip debuts.

Geiger #1 – Second volume of the hit Geoff Johns series kicks off under his new combined universe.

Minor Threats The Fastest Way Down #1 – Patton Oswald’s Minor Threats return.

Principles Of Necromancy #1 – While brave knights and dangerous monsters wage endless war, business is booming for Dr. Jakob Eyes, a traveling physician whose arcane remedies are the closest thing to magic the world knows. These gruesome miracles are only stepping stones for Dr. Eyes’ ultimate ungodly goal: to overcome death itself. And now, a band of decimated barbarians, desperate to bargain for their lives, may just make the ideal next test subjects…

Redcoat #1 – Geoff Johns’ other new book featuring a soldier who is immortal.

Rook Exodus #1 – Third release in the new Geoff Johns’ universe, an all-new science fiction series! Hundreds of years from now, the man known as Rook was once a simple farmer who fled the crumbling Earth for a new life on the planet Exodus; a terraformed planet where all of nature, including its imported animal population, was completely controlled by humans called Wardens. But when Exodus’s world engine failed, the Wardens’ power fell into the wrong hands, creating chaos and mass evacuation… for those who could afford it. The rest, like Rook, must scavenge for an escape vessel as the war for control of what’s left of Exodus begins.

Spider-Man Shadow Of The Green Goblin #1 – PROTO-GOBLIN appears, not sure if it is the same one that first appeared in Spider-Man Minus One yet, but spoilers later.

Usagi Yojimbo The Crow #1 – Finally making it out of the frozen mountains, Usagi and Yukichi come across a merchant being attacked by four brigands. They rescue the supposed merchant only to discover much later that he is really a criminal with a huge bounty on his head! Of course, wherever there is a huge reward you will find bounty hunters Gen and Stray Dog… and other unscrupulous trackers!
