RUNNERS UP

11 Absolute Wonder Woman #1 – Dan Panosian (1:25)
Wonder Woman, raised in Hell, hit the stands two weeks ago and is still a hot-selling book! Fans are dying to see the version of Wonder Woman that was hardened by her upbringing and forced to fight darker demons than the villains she slays with her massive sword. The first issue release was wildly popular, following the same trend as ABSOLUTE BATMAN. The 1:25 Panosian variant was a top ten seller last week. Even though sales have slowed down, the value remains steady. We tracked 27 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 1%, with a high sale of $51 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $44.

12 The Amazing Spider-Man #60 – Adam Hughes (1:100)
Black Cat is a top-selling character for two reasons, and we know what those reasons are… She is a long-time member of the Spider-Man mythos and usually makes big appearances on hard-to-find covers. In this case, she appears in front of Mary Jane on a stunning Adam Hughes virgin cover. This virgin cover is also a 1:100 ratio cover, making the book a rarity. While it is not a key book, it is Zeb Wells’s final issue in collaboration with John Romita Jr. It also teases the future release of THE EIGHT DEATHS OF SPIDER-MAN! We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 24%, with a high sale of $185 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $143.

13 Spawn #357 – Peach Momoko – 2024 NYCC – Spectral Comics – Signed By Todd McFarlane (Limited 500)
Talk about a relic steeped in blood and war… Legends will be told of the scuffles of NYCC 2024, and the odyssey one went through to obtain this book. Reportedly, a few attendees threw fists over getting to this book on time. Other fans had camped out for hours, waiting to secure their copy. For the lucky ones, this book is now safely secured in their collection or racking up new all-time high sales on the aftermarket. Momoko’s Spawn cover experienced a massive boom in the aftermarket, and it is still holding strong! We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 7%, with a high sale of $580 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current NM raw price of $290.

14 Vampirella #672 – Will Jack – 2024 NYCC – The Comic Mint / KRS Comics – Virgin (Limited 500)
The #1 book in our previous week’s Top Ten has dropped down several slots to #14. While the overall volume of sales has decreased, the value has remained for the bodacious vampire bombshell. This NYCC exclusive was a silent star. It sold for a modest $75 and went relatively unnoticed, thanks to the bigger throwdowns surrounding other variant covers. The aftermarket is where this book shined, catching everyone by surprise as it made massive waves after NYCC. With only 500 copies in circulation, these books are finding their forever homes as tracking down someone willing to sell a copy becomes harder! We tracked 14 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 0%, with a high sale of $190 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $184.

15 Wolverine: Revenge – Red Band #3 – Nic Klein – Tales From The Crypt #35 Homage (1:25)
As far as Red Band comics go, the homage covers have always seemed to trend better than others. Fans likely appreciate the homage to classic horror covers, seeing their heroes in a more mature setting. Wolverine may have delayed aging, but we sure don’t, and it is nice to see classics returning for modern-day collectors, especially when it is a rarer 1:25 retailer incentive cover! We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of -39%, with a high sale of $35 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $26.

16 Vampirella #672 – Will Jack – Webstore – Vamp Logo Virgin (Limited 200)
If you thought tracking down a 500-copy print run cover of Vampirella was difficult, good luck finding this cover! Limited to only 200 copies, these variant covers are now active on the aftermarket. It is likely due to the massive success of the “I Love NY” cover that we are seeing these books now hit the aftermarket. For the completionists, there are distinct differences in the covers. Aside from the color shade, Vampirella has now been given a tattoo, an armlet, and thigh-high pantyhose. Her shirt has also seen some better days, as it is now tattered and featuring her logo. Surprisingly, this book’s value matches that of the “I Love NY” cover despite its much smaller print run. For Vampirella fans who can only obtain one cover, it really just comes down to a matter of preference. We tracked eight copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 100%, with a high sale of $190 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $173.

17 Edge Of Spider-Verse #2
Spider-Man 4 has a release date! July 24, 2026 will be the official release date of the new Spider-Man film, titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to ProductionWeekly.com. This website is a premium site for finding production listings, and it also provides filming locations, top cast, plot, and producer/director information. While the information provided by ProductionWeekly tends to be accurate, there have been a few errors in the past, so take this with a grain of salt. How does this relate? Well, one of the first rumors that started floating around for Spider-Man 4 was the return of Andrew Garfield. Within that same rumor, it was also speculated that Emma Stone would return to play an older Gwen Stacy/Ghost Spider. When this rumor started, no one really gave it much attention. However, since the production information was released, this rumor received more fuel. Why? Well… Andrew Garfield was listed as one of the returning stars of the film. Social media speculators and influencers have been covering this very early rumor, and a few fans are getting an early jump on this huge key issue! We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 17%, with a high sale of $800 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current NM raw price of $299.

18 Sonic The Hedgehog #74 – Nathalie Fourdraine – Cover RI (1:10)
In the world of Sonic, Nathalie Fourdraine is a heavy hitter! Fourdraine’s 1:10 covers are extremely popular in the Sonic collector communities. Her artwork on retailer incentives tends to have upward trends in the aftermarket, whether it is a key issue or not. The Sonic fandom is an ever-growing crowd. The movies have helped grow this fandom, and with Sonic 3 just around the corner, expect the hedgehog’s popularity to continue growing! We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 9%, with a high sale of $20 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $17.

19 Absolute Batman #1 – Mike Deodato – 2nd Print
Absolute Batman was a huge turning point for the DC comic universe. It was the pivotal jumping-on point for new and returning fans. This new, dark universe brings alternate versions of your favorite superheroes into fresh storylines. The first issue of Absolute Batman was a massive hit and it ceases to slow down! Our Top Ten is still trending with Absolute Batman, and this 2nd Print is no exception. The Absolute Universe is a win for DC! We tracked 18 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 192%, with a high sale of $60 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current NM raw price of $16.

20 Absolute Wonder Woman #1 – Logo – Foil
Absolute Wonder Woman is the next big hit in the Absolute Universe. Her Cover A is the #3 trending cover this week, and her retailer incentive is #11. In the past, we have seen Wonder Woman books trend for about a week. However, Absolute Wonder Woman is still flying on the aftermarket even 3 weeks after its release. This cover is a new addition to our top-selling lists, indicating that it isn’t a specific cover that fans are chasing; it is the issue itself. Wonder Woman is a hit, and we’ll likely see her books follow a similar trend to Absolute Batman! We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 95%, with a high sale of $30 for an NM copy and a current NM raw price of $20.
