RUNNERS UP
11 Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1 – Marvel Animation Amazing Fantasy #15 Homage
No need to refresh the page; a version of this book showed up in the number one spot this week. This is the first print, open order, cover homage to AMAZING FANTASY #15. The top spot this week goes to the 2nd print 1:25 retailer incentive, which bears a resemblance to this issue. While both are sporting the same artwork, the 1:25 retailer incentive is fetching a hefty price on the aftermarket, while this one’s current raw NM FMV remains at $13. We tracked seven copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 9%, with a high sale of $15 for a Raw NM+ copy.
12 Absolute Wonder Woman #1 – Hayden Sherman – Regular
The Absolute Universe has been a major hit since its debut. Wonder Woman is still enjoying the spoils as her first issue is still a trending book. It is likely that this book is getting fresh eyes on it as this Wednesday is the debut of the 6th issue in her series. While the story heats up, a few collectors are likely going after the first issue to catch up before the next chapter releases. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 43%, with a high sale of $65 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $14.
13 BRZRKR #1 – Rafael Grampa – Regular
BRZRKR revealed big news two weeks ago. Justin Lin (Fast and Furious) would direct the adaptation of this comic book. The live-action project was rumored even before the book was officially released; however, news about the project has been slow for years. Now, it looks like the project is moving forward (which you can follow in our new article – Comic Book Adaptation Status Tracker), and everyone is excited to give this book another look as they rush to collect this Keanu Reeves series. We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 47%, with a high sale of $128 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $8.
14 DC X Sonic The Hedgehog #1 – Pablo M. Collar – Virgin (1:25)
Sonic has always been popular among video gamers and comic collectors. He primarily lived on in that medium and crossed over into animated series. However, his boom in live-action movies has propelled him and his team to new heights of popularity. This crossover with DC comes at a perfect time, as DC is relaunching its cinematic universe. This virgin retailer incentive is moving very quickly on the aftermarket, and for good reason. Sega and DC have already firmly stated that this collaboration will not just be limited to comics. They will expand the crossover into other mediums in 2026! We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 41%, with a high sale of $40 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $19.
15 Sonic The Hedgehog #77 – Nathalie Fourdraine – Cover RI (1:10)
If you’re a Sonic collector, Nathalie Fourdraine’s covers are prime collectibles. Her artwork is usually featured on the 1:10 retailer incentive, and fans love tracking these down. This book was just released last week, but we often see Fourdraine’s covers generate heat when it comes to Sonic aftermarket sales! We tracked eight copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 19%, with a high sale of $20 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $15.
16 Captain Canuck Vol.1 #1
Where the US has Captain America, Canada has Captain Canuck. It may have been a while since you’ve heard that name, but the hero has returned. Richard Comely has illustrated a new comic cover featuring Captain Canuck and his take on recent political events. However, comic fans are lovers of the classics. As the new book generates media attention, other collectors of historically significant comic books have turned their eyes to the first issue of Captain Canuck. This new attention has generated enough heat to land the Canadian hero on our Runner-Up lists. We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 32%, with a high sale of $250 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $25.
17 The Punisher #13
The long-awaited return of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher was revealed last week in the latest episode of Daredevil: Born Again. For a long time, it was rumored that Punisher would feature in the series as he attempted to hunt down corrupt cops who were using his symbol. Based on his cameo appearance, it looks like that may be a teased storyline for a future series (maybe his Special Presentation?). Either way, this tease was enough for fans to track down the first reference to this subplot in this book, featuring Kingpin front and center. We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 26%, with a high sale of $19 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $10.
18 The Omega Men #3
In an interview for Minecraft with CinemaBlend, Jason Momoa nearly revealed his Lobo look. In a teasing moment, Momoa tells his interviewer that he has a picture of his finished Lobo look, and he can show it to him. The camera zooms in for a bit before you hear Momoa’s publicist shout out, “Don’t do it!” It’s a great moment and also a reminder that we are so close to seeing Lobo hit the big screen! In the meantime, his first appearance is enough for us comic collectors as we scramble to pick up copies! We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 26%, with a high sale of $306 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $107.
19 Spawn #1 – Todd McFarlane – Direct
When media news slows down, Spawn is always the go-to first issue for fans to collect. It is everything good about the 90s and a perfectly designed tortured hero. There isn’t any new news to report on the Spawn movie or any new collaborations with video games. Spawn is just a widely popular character with an immensely popular first issue. This book always swings onto our top lists! We tracked 34 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 21%, with a high sale of $130 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $25.
20 Absolute Batman #1 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
Absolute Batman was a massive game-changer in DC comics. Its success seemed never-ending. The Absolute Universe launch was a major hit, and subsequent releases were released after reveling in the same popularity. Batman was the first Absolute series, and his first issue continues to trend well. Recently, Scott Snyder revealed to Newsweek that plans are just beginning for this version of the Dark Knight. He teased future characters like Mr. Freeze, Bane, Man-Bat, Ivy, and Clayface! We tracked 30 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 12%, with a high sale of $87 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $35.
