RUNNERS UP
11 The Amazing Spider-Man #546 – Steve McNiven – Regular
Late last year, it was rumored that the fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man flick would bear the name Spider-Man: Brand New Day. That saw this book get an uptick in movement before quieting down. It came roaring back a few weeks ago when it was announced that it would indeed be the movie’s name. But we still don’t know if it will share the storyline with this book, introducing Mr. Negative and the second Jackpot to the MCU. We have a long way to go before it drops, but fans were quick to key in on this book. We tracked 39 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 14%, with a high sale of $225 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $32.
12 Transformers #19 – Mark Spears – 2025 C2E2 – ComicTom101 – Virgin
We’re hot off the heels of C2E2, and some of the numerous exclusives are starting to hit the aftermarket in a big way. It continues the trend of Spear’s domination, bringing the fervor to the Transformers title. We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100%, with a high sale of $95 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $72.
13 Absolute Batman #6 – Ivan Tao – 2025 C2E2 – Nomasss / Captured Collectibles – Virgin (Limited 333)
This book contains the second cameo appearance of the Absolute Joker and has a striking revelation for Batman’s nemesis(?). Absolute Batman has been dominating the aftermarket for months, and fans were going to show out for more of this universe’s Joker. It was quick to become a C2E2 darling, moving a surprising amount of books in a short period for such a limited release. We tracked 16 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100%, with a high sale of $50 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $49.
14 Sister Imperator #1 – Rafael Sarmento – Regular
Not surprisingly, musical acts and comic books are coming together and doing solid on the aftermarket. Tobias Forge, frontman of Ghost, opted to bring a lyrical saga from the world of the band to life, delivering this series featuring the origin of Sister Imperator, a big player within. It’s done quite well and has joined the likes of the Amory Wars or the Umbrella Academy as books created by those who rose to prominence in the music industry. We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 117%, with a high sale of $20 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $13.
15 Invincible Returns #1 – David Finch – Regular
Invincible has been gaining attention with the mainstream, especially the latest season. He’s working toward being a household name, and we still haven’t made it to his most iconic villain. This book marks the debut of Grand Regent Thragg, the baddest member of the Viltrum Empire. Like, it was a prerequisite to lead their people type of bad dude. It’s been one of the easier keys to achieve in the Invincible run and the only one to add the talents of David Finch, but that’s growing more fluid by the day and sale. We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 12%, with a high sale of $130 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $77.
16 All-New Venom #5 – Clayton Crain – Suspect E – Mary Jane – Surprise (1 Per Store)
Marvel has been hyping up the identity of this all-new Venom for months, and they finally revealed it to be Mary Jane Watson. Surprise! And to capitalize, they released this surprise 1 per store variant from Clayton Crain, who has an extensive history with the character. We tracked 49 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 1%, with a high sale of $67 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $54.
17 DC All In Special #1 – Daniel Sampere – Regular – Wraparound
The Absolute Trinity has revitalized DC like we haven’t seen for years. Of course, fans have been after their first appearance in this title since it hit the racks. However, the pool of collectors aiming for a copy grew rapidly once Absolute Batman hit the shelves, and availability became limited. Those willing to part with their copies have steadily been doing so for quite solid returns. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 79%, with a high sale of $115 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $13.
18 Final Fight #4 – Matthew Weldon (1:5)
While the market for video game-specific comics is relatively small, it is growing rapidly, and we occasionally get books like this lighting up the aftermarket. The Final Fight series was a predecessor to the arguably more famous Street Fighter series. However, several characters from Final Fight are featured in Street Fighter, so the fandom often overlaps. Both showed up for this 1:5 variant from Matthew Weldon featuring a call back to the Mad Gear Gang. We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 42%, with a high sale of $10 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $7.
19 The Sentry Vol.1 #1
Marvel is cooking with these TV spots for the Thunderbolts*. Fans were excited to get the Sentry in any capacity once it was announced that he would be joining the film, and we saw a subsequent bump in aftermarket movement for his first appearance in this book. As the snippets of the movie continue to filter out and the hype builds, more fans are investing in copies of this former deep cut from the Marvel Knights era. We tracked 10 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 57%, with a high sale of $300 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $100.
20 The Omega Men #3
The first appearance of Lobo has been pretty warm since the rumor began circulating that Jason Mamoa might play Lobo in an upcoming film. Then, when confirmation hit that he would, in fact, do so in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow due out next year. Supposedly, some recent set photo leaks are circling the internet with Mamoa as Lobo. This is big if true. We tracked 16 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 4%, with a high sale of $380 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $90.
