The Top 10

1 Wolverine #8 – Daniel Warren Johnson
The Adamantine should not be confused with adamantium. They’re similar, but different, as the Adamantine is a sentient metal. The ‘villain’ that’s been built up is sentient metal, and this book marks its first full appearance! But that takes a backseat to what fans showed up for. This variant, from star writer (and artist) Daniel Warren Johnson, hit a ton of collectors right in the feels. It’s a callback to Wolverine’s roots, those of the samurai, the Frank Miller era, the sheer tankability Wolverine has shown up with time and time again. It’s been a book we’ve had our eyes on, and collectors, in general, showed up in a big way to secure this book. We tracked 130 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 397%, with a high sale of $130 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $48.

2 Summer Of Superman Special #1 – Alexander Lozano
While the wedding of John Henry Irons and Lana Lang is a big draw, collectors zeroed in on this Alexander Lozano variant featuring Supergirl. But, it’s not a depiction the fanbase has been receiving as of late. Instead of being more dominant, this version is more subdued in the era between childhood and adulthood. It’s a version fans are preparing for with the introduction of Millie Alcock as Supergirl in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. We tracked 156 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 318%, with a high sale of $107 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $25.

3 Sister Imperator #2 – Rafael Sarmento – Regular
The first issue in this series did well on the aftermarket for multiple weeks, as fans of the band Ghost, of which Sister Imperator is a central character in the narrative surrounding the band’s extended universe, showed up to secure her first appearance. We’re seeing that hype extend to the second issue, which is rare with books that fall in this niche. Whether it’s hype for the series causing this book to trend, or the fact that it debuted on the same day as the second live performance of the band’s major event, Skeletour, is anyone’s guess. It’s one to keep an eye on, as musical acts like Ghost and Coheed and Cambria have steadily developed engaging background stories surrounding the groups that bring fans in for more than just the music. We tracked 55 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 620%, with a high sale of $50 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $41.

4 Exquisite Corpses #Ashcan – Michael Walsh
If James Tynion is attached to a project, it immediately gets fans interested. That’s no different for this book, well, the preview for this book, at least. It was an ashcan version passed out at Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) and ComicsPro 2025. It is a new series that follows the wealthiest families in America in playing the ultimate game of killer chicken. It immediately grabbed fan interest, which in turn equated to heavy aftermarket movement as said fans saw it as an opportunity to get into the ground floor of a new Tynion run. Only time will tell if it sees the success of something like Something is Killing the Children, but there are still collectors kicking themselves for missing out on the book and likely want to avoid doing so again. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 85%, with a high sale of $50 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $44.

5 All-New Venom #5 – John Tyler Christopher – 2025 C2E2 – Mary Jane Negative Space
Yes, Mary Jane Watson has finally been revealed as the All-New Venom. SURPRISE! Naturally, a lot of fans were ready to tune into the reveal, but a subset zeroed in on this variant. John Tyler Christopher delivers another negative space variant that has fans itching for a copy, and C2E2 was the first chance to get it. Now that we’re a few weeks removed from the event, more copies are making their way to the aftermarket. JTC has developed a major fanbase that turns up every time he does a variant, and that fanbase appears to be growing as he nails another one. We tracked 27 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 40%, with a high sale of $189 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $96.

6 Earth X #12
Finally, we got the first trailer at Fantastic Four: First Steps and got a solid look at Shalla-Bal as the Silver Surfer. She’s the second in that line, the love interest of the original, Noran Radd, and is a relatively fresh face to the wider collecting audience. Hence, a run on her first cover appearance/internal cameo. It’s been a cheap book for years before seeing a large bump in movement, thanks to the casting announcement for Shalla-Bal several months ago. Now that fans have gotten a look at her, interest has increased again! We tracked 32 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 84%, with a high sale of $219 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $48.

7 Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace #3
This book marks the first appearance/ cover appearance of Darth Maul in comics, despite the TPB for this series debuting before the individual book’s release. The big spike in interest is due to the conclusion of Star Wars Celebration Japan a few days ago. There, it was revealed we would be receiving a new Star Wars animated series in 2026 titled Maul: Shadow Lord. Taking place after the Clone Wars, his fanbase is finally getting what they’ve been craving for years now. Subsequently, they hit up the aftermarket to secure this book. We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 143%, with a high sale of $125 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $21.

8 Star Wars: Legacy #2
Again, the Star Wars Celebration in Japan is heating books on the aftermarket. This book included marking the first appearance and debut of Darth Talon. Darth Talon is a female Sith who has a rapidly developing fanbase. The only problem was that she wasn’t technically canon. Now, that’s set to be remedied with the release of Maul: Shadow Lord, as it appears she will be the disciple of Maul. Fans immediately hit up the aftermarket to secure this book upon hearing the news. We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 128%, with a high sale of $125 for a CGC 9.8 raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $27.

9 Action Comics #1 – Dan Mora – Superman Day 2025 – Golden Age Sized Facsimile – Homage
Superman Day (April 18th) is always a big one, considering he’s one of the most popular superheroes of all time and is essentially the genre’s progenitor. Typically, we get some special variants to go with the holiday, and at least one Action Comics reprint. Considering it’s the first appearance of Superman and a crazy expensive and rare book, most fans are content to secure a facsimile for a fraction of the price. When it’s a sweet homage variant, they get even more excited. Dan Mora took it a step further and even included David Corenswet, the fella playing Superman in the upcoming Superman, in the place of the original. Some may consider it sacrilege, but enough considered it awesome and went out to get a copy! We tracked 10 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 29%, with a high sale of $30 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $22.

10 Hellverine #5 – Alessandro Cappuccio – Hell Hulk
Hell yeah, we got Hell Hulk. It’s wild what they’re doing over at Marvel, but the fanbase is here for it. They showed up big time for Hellverine, and this is just an extension to the coolness. This book marks the first cover appearance of Hell Hulk and was a bit of a spoiler variant for those who aren’t plugged into the zeitgeist. And it’s cool as hell, essentially making the emerald giant even more terrifying. What the heck do you even do with a demonized Hulk? We tracked 27 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 19%, with a high sale of $22 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16.
