RUNNERS UP

11 Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #2 – Ryan Ottley & Annalisa Leoni – Battle Beast Blind Bag Advance Edition – Foil
This book came out of the gate hot as hell, achieving high sales of $62 before leveling out as more copies hit the market. It was a book collectors wanted to get their hands on, as it’s not often we get to binge a new comic series out of the gate. It’s calmed down dramatically, but it’s still moving at a good clip. We tracked 38 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 45%, with a high sale of $20 for an NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $11.

12 Invincible #19 – Ryan Ottley – Battle Beast Blind Bag Edition – Foil
The hype behind this release has been unreal, and as part of the blind bag release, fans were eager to get their hands on this book. Part of that is that it reprinted the first appearance of Battle Beast, a book that’s difficult to come by in the wild, as it had a print run of under 10k copies. It also received the foil treatment, making this cover pop even harder than it did in the mid-oughts. We tracked 34 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 40%, with a high sale of $31 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $10.

13 Hellverine #5 – Alessandro Cappuccio – Hell Hulk
This book isn’t viewed as the first appearance of Hell Hulk, per se, but it most definitely is the demonic dynamo’s first cover appearance! This was a version of the Hulk that fans have toyed with for decades, and now they have finally delivered it in comic book form. We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 64%, with a high sale of $18 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $12.

14 The Amazing Spider-Man #546 – Steve McNiven – Regular
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 has been rumored forever before being confirmed, and we even got the title earlier this year. Brand New Day it is similar to the storyline that started right here in this book. However, we don’t know if they will adapt the story directly or not. It has a rich history to pull from, with it being the first appearance of Mr. Negative, FEAST, the second Jackpot, and even the first cameo appearance of Freak. It has a lot going on and is a book fans have steadily picked up since the name of the film was confirmed. We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 22%, with a high sale of $275 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $17.

15 Fantastic Four #5 – Ryan Brown – 2025 Facsimile (1:25)
The trend of facsimile books receiving ratio variants has increased lately, but it’s a no-brainer for a big book like this. The original cover looked like this, and despite being a classic, it didn’t quite emphasize the first appearance of Dr. Doom quite like this cover has achieved. With the increase in Doom love lately, it’s not surprising to see a book like this do some aftermarket work. We tracked seven copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 10%, with a high sale of $60 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $54.

16 Zatanna #4 – Juliet Nneka (1:25)
Zatanna isn’t really a household name, but excellent covers like this 1:25 variant from Juliet Nneka typically do very well on the aftermarket. She’s an underrated character with a dedicated fanbase who typically show up when a hot cover hits the shelves. We tracked 10 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 1%, with a high sale of $50 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $43.

17 The Thanos Imperative: Devastation #1
As quickly as rumors began to swirl, they disappeared into the void. There was a rumor that the team who debuted in this book, the Annihilators, would be getting the MCU treatment on the backs of the Thunderbolts* success. A whole discussion sprang up online debating which team could take which. But without something concrete coming out immediately, the flame was bound to subside a bit, but it still moved at a solid clip. We tracked 10 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 2%, with a high sale of $35 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $11.

18 Fantastic Four #48 – Taurin Clarke – 2025 Facsimile (1:25)
Similar to entry #15, this big book facsimile got the ratio variant treatment! It reprints the first appearance of Silver Surfer and the first cameo of Galactus, naturally, fans are eager to get their hands on it. This 1:25 from Taurin Clark brings to bear the scale of Galactus and an interesting perspective that our MCU counterparts may face when the film hits theatres. We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 1%, with a high sale of $33 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16.

19 Mark Spears Monsters #4 – Mark Spears – Doctor Creepy (1:25)
Doctor Creepy is right! Mark Spears does it again with this 1:25 ratio for the 4th issue in his Monsters run. Nearly every cover for this series has been hot, as Spears has an eye for the horror scene and delivers it time and time again. This book is no different, and for a series that most LCS aren’t ordering 25 copies of, it is a difficult book to secure. We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 14% with a high sale of $38 for a NM raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $27.

20 Invincible Iron Man #9 – Mike Deodato – Regular
This book marks the first appearance of Riri Williams, who later becomes Ironheart. We got her debut in the MCU several years ago in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but it’s been quiet since then. She was slated to receive a Disney+ show that has quietly moved ahead. Recently, we even got a trailer! The series is set to debut next month, and some fans opted to secure this book before it hits the airwaves and gets people talking. We tracked 12 copies sold at a 7-day growth trend of 1%, with a high sale of $155 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $42.
