THE TOP 10
1 Batman: Dark Patterns #2 – Hayden Sherman – Regular
Batman dominated 2025 with the success of ABSOLUTE BATMAN, but that wasn’t enough for the Dark Knight. While fans and critics alike praised that book for the alternate reality, this book is grounded in a street-level story within Batman’s first year. A quick search of the series will reveal dozens of reviews praising its storytelling and artwork, with many referring it to the golden age of Batman storylines. The latest release, #9, has been receiving raving reviews for the tragic story told. These reviews have created a new demand for the earlier issues of this series, and fans rushed to the aftermarket. Many of these issues are easy to grab, except for #2. The demand for this issue is higher than the books available to purchase and the price of this issue quickly soared last week! This book also was massively under-ordered after the first issue was a massive success but it was past FOC. It then a portion of them went out damaged or went messing at Diamond. So this book has a bit of history attached to it as well. We tracked 28 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 764% with a high sale of $57 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $41.
2 Magik #8 – Russell Dauterman (1:25)
Back in 2022, Dauterman illustrated a series of “generational costumes” covers featuring Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, and many others. While those covers were open order, this book is a retailer incentive. Not only that, but it also features one of the biggest cover sellers in Marvel, Magik! Dauterman produced a top winner with this cover, as fans of Magik tend to love her in nearly all her iterations. Whatever your favorite Magik costume is, this cover’s got it! We tracked 45 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 121% with a high sale of $100 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $65.
3 The New Teen Titans Annual Vol.2 #2
We’re only a couple of days from the debut of the new season of Peacemaker! Peacemaker took everyone by surprise when the show was released. While we all expected tons of humor, there was also tons of heart. While the character of Adrian Chase is certifiably insane, he also did provide Peacemaker with lots of support. He was the unwavering annoying friend you always want to get away from but still glad they’re by your side. Fans are excited for his return and are turning to the aftermarket to get their copy of his first appearance. We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 124% with a high sale of $150 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $34.
4 Simpsons Comics #1
Disney+ has announced that the ‘Back to School’ streaming promotion is up and running. It is a 24/7 dedicated channel to watch all the school-related episodes. It’s a great promotion for this time of year and is sure to bring in new eyes on the already widely popular series. This could be one reason that this comic has been seeing a bump in sales. Another is that this is a cover swipe of FANTASTIC FOUR #1. Fantastic Four covers have been extremely popular since the film’s debut. Another reason could be Matt Groening’s SDCC interview. While the reason isn’t crystal clear, it is safe to say that the nostalgia bug hit collectors this past week and this book took off! We tracked 10 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 75% with a high sale of $170 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $26.
5 The Amazing Spider-Man #546 – Steve McNiven – Regular
Social media is rife with Brand New Day set footage. In a surprising twist, Marvel has been pretty nonchalant about the leaked videos and pictures from the set. Whether they cannot stop the leaks or are simply using them for marketing, one thing is certain: the buzz is real. In the most recent news, a YouTuber speculated on the release of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends 2026 toy line. It is believed that this toy line will feature a “Savage Hulk”. This plays into the widely popular fan theory that Mr. Negative will use his powers to release the rage form of the currently jolly green giant. There are also the BTS pics of WANTED photos of Professor Hulk. This is what fans hope for and it all centers around Mr. Negative, setting his first appearance on fire once more! We tracked nine copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 39% with a high sale of $32 for a NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $29.
6 Giant-Size X-Men #2 – Ivan Talavera – Virgin (1:50)
Last week was all Magik! Magik brought her own book to the top of the list and is also raising this GIANT-SIZE X-MEN to new heights of popularity. This 1:50 retailer incentive is on fire, quite literally! Talavera showcases his eccentric artwork by putting Magik front and center. From the sizzling flames in the back to the fragmented sword, this cover took the aftermarket by storm and Magik fans could not wait to get their hands on this beast! We tracked seven copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 32% with a high sale of $76 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $55.
7 Pinupocalypse #5 – Sveta Shubina (1:25)
Speaking of attractive covers, take a look at the recent work by Shubina! PINUPOCALYPSE has made tons of waves on the aftermarket thanks to their weird yet sexy looking covers. This is a simple, yet extremely captivating, illustration of a curvy red-dress wearing zombie. It’s hard to imagine a scenario where pieces of her flesh are dangling off her bones, but she has yet to have a hair out of place. Not to mention zombie-proof mascara. Stunning until the end! Er, even after the end… This book took the top spot this week as Shubina has been putting out mega cover hits! We tracked six copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 13% with a high sale of $70 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $62.
8 Amazing Spider-Man #9 – J. Scott Campbell – Just Spectacular Collection Virgin (1:100)
Now this redhead is very much alive. Campbell uses his signature style to bring fans another stunning MJ cover. This could easily be a part of MJs modeling portfolio as she showcases her love for Spider-Man in her favorite t-shirt. The superimposed picture-in-picture of the cover also adds a major draw, allowing fans to see MJs face in more detail. Freckle fans are likely to have a hard time passing this one up as we’re all rushing to pick up a copy of the latest Campbell hit cover! We tracked six copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 4% with a high sale of $160 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $146.
9 Ultimate Spider-Man #1 – Marco Checchetto – Regular
Back when this issue debuted, fans couldn’t get enough of it. It sold on our Top Ten for weeks on end. Then there was a cooling-off period. The Ultimate Universe took a bit of a lull for a while, and this book took a brief backseat. If you recall, this issue introduced Peter’s children, Richard and May Parker. Richard Parker, through the use of a high-tech suit, has joined his father as a second version of Spider-Man. In the latest issue, a big surprise to all, Richard Parker’s suit transformed into this universe’s version of Venom! It seems like this hyped up Richard’s first appearance enough to send it skyrocketing back onto the Top Ten! We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 11% with a high sale of $210 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $106.
10 Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars #8 – Direct
As we approach the beginning of 2026 and the release of Avengers: Doomsday, we’re likely to see this book more and more. It tends to swing onto our lists during slow news weeks and rightfully so. Many fans believe that Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will lead to MCU’s Spider-Man finally receiving the black suit. It has been a long journey, but fans still hold out hope, and it shows with these aftermarket sales! We tracked 31 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 14% with a high sale of $530 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $154.
