RUNNERS UP

11 X-Men Of Apocalypse Alpha #1 – Joe Madureira – Cover A Virgin (1:50)
How epic is this crossover! Revisiting the Age of Apocalypse saga, this book aims to bring back a taste of the original event that spawned numerous X titles that are still beloved today. However, this 1:50 from Joe Madureira depicts one of the best iterations of Wolverine to come out of that era, and one that fans love (especially after it popped up in Deadpool and Wolverine). Despite being down a hand, this Wolverine still has both sets of claws! We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 41% with a high sale of $71 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $69.

12 Batman #1 – Blind As A Bat Blind Bag
The blind bag craze has been wild to see play out, but it appears the trend is here to stay. And, it’s come for Batman, as this series launched with a ton of variants to chase via these bags. And a chase it was, as consumers went into it blind as a bat, hoping to secure the variant they coveted. Not all were so lucky, with some opting to let someone else try their luck on the aftermarket. We tracked 41 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 44% with a high sale of $20 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $17.

13 Murder Podcast #1 – Ebrahel Lurci (1:5)
If the title didn’t hook collectors, the introduction to the market did! It’s the first book released from a brand new publisher, Ignition Press, and it combines murder and podcasts, a deadly combination in the attention-getting game. However, collectors were stunned when they saw this 1:5 variant from Ebrahel Lurci, and were quick to hit up their LCS for a copy. However, LCS doesn’t typically order heavy for brand-new titles from brand-new publishers, so this ratio would be tougher to get for the average collector. To the online marketplace you go! We tracked 17 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 15% with a high sale of $10 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $10.

14 Batman #1 – Julian Totino Tedesco – Blind Bag Foil – Error (Issue Misspelled On Back)
Collectors are showing up big time for these blind bag releases, especially on a title such as Batman. But when word got out that one of those bling bag variants contained an error, collectors jumped all over it. The community LOVES error books, and they’re a growing niche of collectors that’s been feasting on the past few years. Unfortunately, this error comes on the back of the book, so it may not see as much interest, but it still saw enough to land on this list! We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 46% with a high sale of $20 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16

15 T.A.M.A. #2 – Tony Fleecs – Video Game Homage (1:10)
T.A.M.A. hit the scene hard, as it tapped into the main nostalgia vein for a generation of collectors. Virtual pets, terrorizing the living? The community said, “Tell me more.” They got it with issue #2, and a stellar Tony Fleecs 1:10 homage variant to the good ole days of Pokémon, the virtual pet introduction the majority of the fandom first experienced! We tracked six copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100% with a high sale of $35 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $30.

16 Spawn #9
Angela, the former Spawn character? Yes. She migrated to Marvel and is now Thor’s sister. However, her first appearance was in this book, hence her landing on our list. But collectors are revisiting it in a hurry, as Marvel Rivals introduced a playable version of Angela to the game. Those who played got their first taste last weekend, and some were quick to hit up the aftermarket to secure their first appearance. We tracked 22 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 16% with a high sale of $100 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $9.

17 Uncanny X-Men #266 – Direct
Finally, with Deadpool and Wolverine, we got a depiction of Gambit in the MCU, played by Channing Tatum. But Marvel isn’t quick to toss him aside. Last week, Tatum sat down for an interview regarding his injury on the set of Avengers: Doomsday and mentioned a little tidbit about shooting more and an epic fight between Gambit and Doom. It could be a misdirection, but that didn’t stop collectors from picking up a few copies of the consensus first appearance of Gambit, just in case. We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 11% with a high sale of $635 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $139.

18 Batman #1 – Stanley Artgerm Lau – Blind Bag Foil
Artgerm is at it again with a stellar variant! Another blind bag option, collectors were in a hurry to secure this Germ variant for a multitude of reasons. Collectors tune in when Artgerm delivers work like this; it’s Batman, and Artgerm’s first wraparound cover. Nuff said! We tracked eight copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 16% with a high sale of $59 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $17.

19 Batman #1 – Jim Lee – Blind Bag Gold Foil (1:500)
Jim Lee is beloved for some of the iconic Batman covers he’s delivered. Covers that would go on to become iconic to the Batman IP, and a definitive version for collectors to chase after. They turned up big time for this 1:500 gold foil blind bag variant, the “chase” cover for this book. Another one in the books for Mr. Lee! We tracked six copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 1% with a high sale of $560 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $478.

20 Immortal Legend Batman #1 – Matt Taylor (1:25)
The hype for this book has calmed dramatically from last week, as all things do, but it’s still seeing some aftermarket attention. The mini-series Batman titles can go either way, but this appears to be one that collectors are enjoying: a cosmic Batman, and a Kamen Rider-style cover. Matt Taylor understood the assignment for this 1:25 variant! We tracked 14 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 13% with a high sale of $65 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $49.
