While this isn’t relatively new news, it did fly under the radar. For those unaware, Valhalla Entertainment has picked up the rights for this book, with intentions of turning it into a feature film. If you haven’t heard of Valhalla Entertainment, then you likely have heard of their projects. They have been the production company for The Terminator Trilogy, Incredible Hulk, and The Walking Dead (among many spin-offs). They likely have big plans to create a horror/christmas type film and speculators are buying into the retailer incentive. Aside from the media news, this is also a solid cover to add to anyone’s collection. Sozomaika brings the heat with this 1:25 variant cover! The book just released last week and it already is a top trending variant cover. It is not as revealing as some of Witchblade’s other covers but the simplicity of her pose seems to have worked well with fans. 14 The Incredible Hulk #30 – Kyle Hotz (1:25) (Find it on eBay)
There was tons of speculation that the Infernal Hulk’s first appearance would occur in the first issue of the series. However, in a twist of events, the Infernal Hulk’s first appearance took place last week in the last issue of Incredible Hulk’s series. As the series wrapped up, we see Hulk possessed and attempting to free the Mother of Horrors (also a first appearance). Without spoiling too much, the series ends on a panel of the Infernal Hulk’s fist bursting free. Is this enough to be a first appearance? First cameo appearance? Fed up with the numerous super villain prison breaks, Rick Flag Sr. proposes “Salvation”, a planet where we can exile the worst criminals. To test out its livability, and as revenge for Rick Flag Jr., Flag Sr. strands Peacemaker in the unknown dimension.
