Nearly all the books of this week’s Top Ten were repeated from last week. In slow media news weeks, we always see classic covers make their return. This Campbell cover is arguably one of his most famous pieces. Most people that love the cover, know there was controversy behind the artwork. The controversy mainly focused on a social media user that attempted to “fix” Campbell’s MJ portrayal and the results going viral. There was a whole big back-and-forth with Campbell also, that divided the fandom. Ironically, the controversy is what cemented this cover as a timeless collector’s item.
