RUNNERS UP

11 Absolute Batman #15 – Jock (1:50)
The true Absolute Joker has arrived! While we may have seen a glimpse of the Absolute Joker back in issue #11, here we see the true power of the clown. There are no obscured figures in this one; we get to witness the Joker transform into his demonic entity as we witness his origin story unfold. While the Cover A has taken a higher spot, those who love chasing retailer incentive covers were immediately drawn to Jock’s cover. We tracked 64 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 11% with a high sale of $180 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $65.

12 Absolute Batman #2 – Dan Panosian
ABSOLUTE BATMAN has been the comic series of the year. It took the comic book community by storm and breathed new life into Batman and his mythos. As the series gained enormous popularity, the earlier issues of the series started to become top collector items, particularly the Cover As. For the past few weeks, the Cover A of issue #2 has been a mega-seller. However, as fans look for alternatives, we see other covers begin to trend! We tracked 10 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 133% with a high sale of $23 for a NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $18.

13 DC All In Special #1 – Daniel Sampere – Regular – Wraparound
While ABSOLUTE BATMAN gets a ton of credit for bringing attention to the Absolute universe, it all started with this issue. Just one week before the debut of ABSOLUTE BATMAN #1, this issue introduced the fandom to Absolute versions of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. At the time, ABSOLUTE BATMAN #1 hogged all the glory. However, as fans trace back earlier key issues of the Absolute universe, all roads lead to this book! We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 60% with a high sale of $167 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $45.

14 Absolute Batman #15 – Glenn Fabry – Third Eye Comics (Limited 750)
Everyone knew that the Absolute Joker was going to debut last week. The book had a lot of hype and plenty of time to get preorders in. Many of the open orders are moving quickly on the aftermarket, and the retailer incentives are too, but they haven’t made drastic jumps in pricing. Enter Glenn Fabry with his Third Eye Exclusive. This book was sold out two weeks before the release date, and with a limited print run of 750, it quickly jumped in value on the aftermarket. Fun fact: This was also the artwork Snyder used to reveal that the red markings on Joker’s face are not paint but rather more of his mouth, full of teeth and everything! We tracked 7 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 66% with a high sale of $100 for a NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $76.

15 Absolute Batman #5 – Nick Dragotta – Regular (eBay)
Absolute Batman has reached a new height of popularity! As evident by this week’s top lists, everyone wants a piece of ABSOLUTE BATMAN! This is the 5th part of the first arc of ABSOLUTE BATMAN, which concludes in the next issue. We tracked 52 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 62% with a high sale of $60 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $26.

16 Absolute Batman #14 – Derrick Chew
Absolute Joker made his demonic appearance this week, and it’s huge! The Joker received a huge revamp to his design and lore. Likewise, Absolute Harley Quinn made her debut in the last issue and also has an awesome first cover by Derrick Chew. Who knows if this Harley and Joker will share the same toxic relationship as the others? We tracked 49 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 52% with a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $15.

17 Absolute Batman #7 – Nick Dragotta – Regular (eBay)
A lot of early issues of ABSOLUTE BATMAN have been trending on the aftermarket. While new ones emerge, there are also those that have been trending for a while because of their key status. This is a good example. This book has always been a popular grab for fans of ABSOLUTE BATMAN, as it features the first appearance of Victor Fries, Jr (the Absolute Mr. Freeze). We tracked 41 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 47% with a high sale of $130 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $37.

18 Absolute Batman #2 – Nick Dragotta – Regular (eBay)
Here is the Cover A mentioned earlier! This book has taken off as one of the top early issues of ABSOLUTE BATMAN to collect! It features many first appearances of Absolute versions of villains like Oswald Cobblepot, Edward Nigma, and Harvey Dent. Snyder has said that he has big plans for all these villains in future story arcs for the series! We tracked 61 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 17% with a high sale of $149 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $21.

19 Absolute Batman #4 – Nick Dragotta – Regular (eBay)
Another early issue of ABSOLUTE BATMAN trends on the aftermarket. This book features the origin of the Absolute Batman. It’s also a great cover A from Dragotta, who has been the cover artist to chase on these earlier issues. As Absolute Batman gets ready to enter a new year of crossovers and more Absolute villains, these earlier issues are seeing more demand! We tracked 59 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 7% with a high sale of $155 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $24.

20 Absolute Batman #9 – Nick Dragotta – Regular (eBay)
Absolute Bane is here! Much like many of the Absolute villains’ debuts, Absolute Bane was a huge hit. In fact, he is the main antagonist of the second story arc in the series. Before the debut of Absolute Joker, Bane was the most anticipated villain to see in the brand-new universe. It also features the cameo appearances of Absolute Slade Wilson and Dick Grayson, which are sure to feature more heavily in future stories! We tracked 48 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 20% with a high sale of $150 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $12.
