RUNNERS UP
10 Death Fight Forever #1 – Alexis Ziritt
This book was another title that saw some serious aftermarket movement as collectors pivoted to other books if they missed out on some specific ones. It’s hard to walk past it and not be intrigued! It also has the weight of Andrew MacLean behind it, who developed a fanbase with Head Lopper. While this cover from Alexis Ziritt steals the aftermarket show, it’s a book fans have been looking forward to, and it appears to have been secured in droves. We tracked 24 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 343% with a high sale of $20 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $18.

11 It’s Jeff Meets Daredevil #1 – Nic Klein – Jaws Homage
Homage covers are always a fun collector’s item to chase down. Especially when it is a parody of a classic film, using two beloved comic characters. Between Jeff the Land Shark and Daredevil, the latter is definitely the more terrifying of the two. Jeff has been a beloved Marvel character who doesn’t fit the sinister ruthlessness of the shark in Jaws. Daredevil, on the other hand, is a predator. He hunts down criminals from the shadows and attacks when they least suspect. It makes sense that he takes the place of the Jaws shark in this fun homage to the classic Spielberg film! We tracked 42 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 181% with a high sale of 20 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $9.

12 D’Orc #1 – Jesse Lundberg – ThatBoyChrisp Comics – Amazing Spider-Man #300 Homage – Virgin (Limited 500)
D’ORC is the next big thing in comics! The popularity of the little green guy has really taken off in the past couple of weeks, and the exclusive covers have been flying off the shelves. This is the latest variant that has skyrocketed in popularity. This exclusive is an homage to a fan-favorite cover, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #300. It is a very popular homage cover, and D’ORC is the latest to take on the iconic pose. We tracked 7 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 75% with a high sale of $245 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $122.

13 D’Orc #1 – Jason Howard
While exclusive covers for D’ORC have been soaring in popularity, the open order covers are still moving fast. Out of all the covers for the first issue, this is the only one that features a unicorn. *SPOILER ALERT* A decapitated unicorn is shown on the first page of the issue, being the main reason two parties engage in a battle. In a world of sentient shields and floating chicken heads, it appears that unicorns hold major significance. Maybe this is a cover to hold on to for the long run! We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $75 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $39.

14 Mega Man X #1 – Jeffrey Cruz (1:5)
If this book doesn’t kick your nostalgia into high gear, nothing will! Mega Man was a mega part of many of our childhoods. Likewise, the Super Nintendo was one of the first game systems that our generation experienced. Mega Man titles were up there in popularity with games from Mario, Donkey Kong, Sonic, and Earthworm Jim (maybe that last one was just me). The design for the Super Nintendo box is spot on, and it made a connection with many fans. The book took off after its release and has kept going up in value! We tracked 25 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 4% with a high sale of $50 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $25.

15 Bleeding Hearts #1 – Stipan Morian – Foil
BLEEDING HEARTS continues its run in popularity as DC used the title to kick off the return of their Vertigo imprint! The book has drawn in a lot of readers, not just because of its cover art. It features a heart-warming horror story. The storytellers made a bold choice of taking the readers on a journey that would end with them caring about the zombie in a post-apocalyptic setting. This foil cover has been a main preference for most collectors! We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 21% with a high sale of $27 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $19.

16 DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 – Darick Robertson
The heated battle between Superman and Homelander continues through to this week. This is the clash that fans have always wanted but never thought they would receive. The idea was as outlandish as pitting the Joker against the Annabelle doll… which also happens in this issue! The cover was an open order cover that is still gaining tons of attention and moving quickly on the aftermarket. Who wouldn’t want to commemorate the clash of titans with such an epic cover?! We tracked 28 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 28% with a high sale of $20 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $13.

17 Comics! The Magazine #1 – Sveta Shubina – Sequential Art Comics (Limited 1000)
Sveta Shubina has been on a roll! This is the latest of the greatest covers that they have been releasing. If you’re unfamiliar, COMICS! THE MAGAZINE is the latest run at bringing back a “Wizard”-esque magazine back to the shelves. Wizard has become a niche collector’s item in recent years, as fans have been in the market for a magazine with similar content. The release of the first issue happens next week and this exclusive cover is blowing up! Originally going for $20, this exclusive cover has taken off on the aftermarket on preorders alone! We tracked 6 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 10% with a high sale of $70 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $53.

18 D’Orc #1 – Jorge Corona
Here’s another fan favorite D’ORC cover by Corona! The cover features the main character in a super aggressive and bloody stance. The majority of D’ORC covers have featured the main character in a cartoony/somewhat innocent look. After reading the ending of the first issue, you’ll see why this cover is the most accurate depiction of D’ORC! We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 12% with a high sale of $75 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $47.

19 D’Orc #1 – Blank
Wow! This blank cover has really been taking off! Last week, the highest sale for this cover was $80; the high sale for a raw NM copy this week was $100! Blank covers have been a popular grab for most collectors, all with the hopes of having the creator sketch a custom cover. The premise of owning a one-of-a-kind cover is very alluring to most, and, as such, the desire to nab a blank cover continues to grow! We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 2% with a high sale of $100 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $87.

20 Bleeding Hearts #1 – Nick Dragotta
Nick Dragotta is a name that has continuously appeared on our Top Ten and Runner-ups. His work on ABSOLUTE BATMAN covers has made him a prominent artist to collect. He lends his talents to this cover of BLEEDING HEARTS, which has soared in popularity. The book was such a hit that it immediately went back for a 2nd printing. This is one of the select covers that fans have gravitated towards. It is a hot variant to collect for the second week in a row! We tracked 44 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $20 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $14.
