The much buzzed about Savage Dragon #280 and Savage Dragon #281 by Image Comics partner and CFO Erik Larsen have sold out completely at the distributor level yet again. Image will rush these popular new issues back to print in order to keep up with rising demand.
“I am understandably thrilled to have these books go back to press for a third time,” said Larsen.
In Savage Dragon #280, the surviving members of the rescue team that went into Russia fight their final battle in an effort to come home.
Larsen’s Savage Dragon is the longest-running, full-color comic book series to feature a single artist/writer and the character first appeared, as part of a three-issue miniseries, that launched with the company’s founding in 1992. It continues to release in trade paperback and hardcover collected editions and regularly releases new single issues. It is swiftly approaching its next milestone issue, #300.
Savage Dragon #280, third printing (UPC: 70985305211128013) and Savage Dragon #281, third printing (UPC: 70985305211128113) will both be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, September 23.
