Scooby Doo Team Up #12 was one of the hottest books of the week. People grabbed up every copy they could find. The books are selling for $15-20 on eBay. Partially due to the appearance of the classic animated version of Harley Quinn but also coupled with the small print run. I have seen posts all over message boards and face book where people said they couldn’t grab a copy for their kids.
Now some of this could be sour grapes, but I do believe some of this is genuine. So we are going to give away a copy of it. But, you have to be a parent. So here are the rules:
1. You must be a parent who wants one for their kid to enter (we have no way of enforcing this but karma man)
2. One entry per person as always (we have ways of telling)
3. Enter your name in the comment box below
4. Book ships free in the U.S., Foreign winners chip in the difference.
5. Drawing will be Monday night at 8 PM Eastern. You must check back to see if you win.
6. Winners have 48 hours from the announcement to contact us at the email address that will be provided in the winner notification post or it will be drawn again.
That is it. Good luck.
Stephen entering for Christopher.
Wasn’t it You who gave the link to the site badasscollectibles during the scooby doo team up #12 thread and again for paper girls #1?

Un-enter me– I got some at my LCS! Thanks!
Good work, Tony! This is some genuine good guy activity going on here. (Not a parent (unless cats count); not entering; just came by to day kudos on the great giveaway!)
I hate to admit it but this was not my idea. While I’m happy to host the contest this was all Mel’s idea I forgot to give him credit at the top. But I’m glad to take all the adulation

I GUESS, I’ve got an extra copy I can kick in if you want to give to away. As long as it’s for kids, and not other neck beards that speced on it. Like me.
Anthony, just message me at Jonathan.R.Shafer@gmail.com
Agreed — great one, Tony and Mel!

Cool contest. I have three kids (twin 4 yr old boys and a 6 yr old girl). I’m not going to enter this tho, because when I give them comics (and I do regularly) they get ruined pretty quickly. The investor in me would hate to see that happen to this book (even if it has cooled down since release).
But again, cool contest 🙂

This is a great idea Tony. My oldest child is a 2 year old and I’m afraid he wouldn’t enjoy this comic book the same way an older kid would, so I’m not entering. lol. I just wanted to say, good job!
Shit! if they can prove its for their kid, I’ll throw one in. I was able to get a few on Wednesday and went to the same shop on Saturday and picked up another. Not as hard to get as people say. But if you can prove that its for your kid, then i’ll throw one in….
All we can do sometimes is take peoples word for it. I actually now have two copies we will be giving away. If you want to make it three email me at apopcomics@gmail.com and we can work out the details
Peter DM …..son is 8 and loves Scooby!

No kids yet, but let me know when I can enter my cat for a chance!… Not sure if she likes Scooby Doo though.
