Blind Box Comics Unboxing. Inaugural Box

We had posted up the Kickstarter for Blind Box Comics subscription service a while back. I received the first box in the mail today and show it off. Very pleased with what was inside. Check it out you will see why.

And don’t forget to check them out at www.blindboxcomics.com

  1. Oh man I am kicking myself in the butt for not getting this subscription. That enourmous book looks sick…..

  2. Holy shit! Was that a random pull or did you pledge for specifically that on Kickstarter? Is there a chance I could pull one of those too?

    1. That was one of the pricier kickstarter funding options. You could chose from a variety of tiers with a number of different rewards. One of them included original sketch variants by a randomly assigned artist. The rewards are all pretty solid though, and definitely didn’t disappoint. They have 3 limited covers for Enormous 9 this month with the Austin cover clocking in at about a 1:6 rarity compared to its connecting counter-part. I sprang for a Blindbox subscription in addition to the three month blindvariant reward since I wanted to offer more support than my measly 60 dollar donation, and I’ve been thrilled with the service. It’s definitely worth your money to go the Blindbox route as you get the blindvariant on top of five selected books each month. So far it’s been the best bang for your buck subscription service that I’ve ever tried. Plus, as you can see the recommended books and variants do a great job of hitting a lot of different genres each month.

    1. Yeah, different donation levels all had different options. For example, for giving 60 I just chose the first 3 blind variants as my reward, and then separate from that enrolled in the regular subscription program for Blindbox, which gives you the monthly blind variant plus 5 titles which they select for subscribers. It’s a pretty solid deal, as you can see, for what they charge a month. The only thing I didn’t understand was that the KS exclusive variants were available to Month 1 subscribers. Fortunately I snagged an Austin variant in my box though, which looks gorgeous.

  3. I was happily surprised to receive mine in the mail today. When people say presentation is everything they must be talking about BlindBox.
Very happy with the selection and the presentation of the books.
The variant in the black mailer was awesome!
A great subscription and I’m guessing knowing Court it will only get better
