Rick Remender’s new series, Devolution #1 has sold out and is going back for a second printing.
Normally, for me, Dynamite books do not carry a lot of spec value. However, Rick Remender has a big following, and Dynamite’s print runs are fairly small. Through in that it was actually a really good read and they could have an actual hit on their hands.

Every living creature on Earth has been devolved – the evolutionary clock turned back, reverting all life to odd mutations and prehistoric incarnations. The cities of man are little more than bloody territories ruthlessly dominated by tribal Neanderthals ruling from the backs of mammoths, packs of saber-toothed tigers, and giant man-eating insects. A journey with the last band of ‘Still Sapien’ humans in the hope of locating an antidote and re-evolving the human race.
No big movement on the book on the secondary market so it is not quite a Wednesday Winner, but certainly worth checking out and keeping an eye on.
I actually read it myself and really liked it. I’m not a huge fan of Dynamite but looks like they got a winner. Now let’s just hope they don’t have a bazillion covers each release… with a bazillion releases of #1 covers.. They’re not as bad as Avatar but close..
