Daymen #1 SDCC Variant flip idea

I had previously ran a post on The Walking Dead #115 NYCC Variant from TFAW as a flip idea. They were selling them for $2.99 and they were going on eBay for $20 plus at the time. Well here is another one (or just one to hold on to until the movie comes out.)

You can get Daymen #1 SDCC variant for $7.99 from Things from Another World for $7.99 plus shipping on pre-order. They are going for $20-$30 online. The SDCC variant is limited to 500 copies. Better jump on this one fast before they are gone.

    1. I ordered one. But at a print run of 500 copies I knew they wouldn’t last long. They do preorders but they sometimes reopen it the day before or the day if for remaining copies. I would check back Tuesday or Wednesday.

    OK, HERE’S THE DEAL: If these books consistently sell for $100 a pop, I will dump the lot, and make a cool $900 profit! I will then go out and purchase a nice copy of WALKING DEAD #1…

    Actually, I’m going to send an email, and see if I can get another 10 copies for $9.99 each from my source, and IF I CAN SECURE ANOTHER 10, I WILL FLIP 10 AND KEEP 10, AND STILL BE ABLE TO GRAB A WD #1 FOR AROUND $900-1000 WITH THE FLIP-CASH!!!!!!!!!!

    HMMM, let me see, I get a $1000 comic, and a GUARANTEED $900 worth of comics (with potential for much more $$$$$$$ when the movie hits)…all for a modest investment of $200…

      1. Yea, I know, and most ‘serious’ auctions for this book are between $20-30 right now, but that’s why we speculate! I really think this book will become even more sought after when/if the movie/tv show is released…that’s why I went ahead and secured 10 more for $9.99 each.

        20 books (all free shipping) at an investment of $199. Obviously the price for these books will never go down (IMO), so I could realistically turn around and flip all 20 @ $30 a pop and take the $401 profit RIGHT NOW, or I can hold on and wait to see what happens on the movie front for this title!

        ORRRRRRR, I COULD HIT UP MY CONTACT AGAIN, AND GET 10 MORE COPIES, AND THEN I WOULD OWN 0.002% OF THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF DAY MEN #1 SDCC VARIANT, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!

        I think this is an awesome title / book, and absolutely SUPER material for a BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE / TV SHOW! I think it will do well for quiet some time…
