  1. It’s strange to see Marvel with the dollar share and unit share lead over DC. I really thought the Rebirth launch would put them on top for a long long time. Not to mention that I think DC is putting out better titles these days with less shenanigans but what do I know.

  2. My local shop has backed way off of DC. They stock up on the Batman-related titles, but the other DC titles are all down to just a few copies being ordered, and not selling. Now that DC is bumping up cover prices & including the free digital copy, I’m wondering how that will impact things. Now that Marvel is discontinuing their free digital copy program, I’m actually going to be buying less from them, simply because I won’t have time to keep up with reading all those titles, since I can’t rely on reading some of them on-the-go and on break at work. And of course, week one roll-out of their new initiative, they’re offering digital copies of books I already bought last year and have the digital copies of; and it’s the same books being given away across all titles this week, so the codes from the other 10 books are pointless.
