Support new comics !
This column is here to help promote brand new comic book series.
Pictured are the 3 new series that are selling out the fastest at Diamond !
This weekly article shows how popular the titles are and how close they are to selling out at Diamond.
This will give retailers and collectors a heads up with a reminder of books you want to make sure you get immediately!!
Sometimes books don’t sell out immediately so its worth taking a look back at series that came out in the past few months !
Comics can sell out very quickly so some titles on this list will be more valuable instantly the day of release !
Keep in mind that with 1500 comic stores if even just 20% of stores re-ordered just 1 copy each that would be 300 more copies sold instantly so a book can easily sell out within minutes if the book gets some buzz and/or good response from readers!
So many comics on the list that still have copies left are going to eventually all sell out.
Diamond data of copies still available listed below compiled 2 days BEFORE release date!

Looks like TFAW doesn’t have 24 #1 listed anymore, so they likely might be sold out already on their own pre-orders. Midtown still has them listed but still 1 per customer.
24 is my pick of the week, along with The Bunker and The Walking Dead All Out War Conclusion.
Tfaw hasn’t had them listed since the first time I mentioned the book a couple of weeks ago. Lonestar still has them as well. Good choices. Very similar to the direction I was going this week. Walking dead is sold out well in advance of Wednesday.
They did actually list them about a week or so ago (must of sold out quickly then), I think I left a comment to go lock in your orders as I was able to pre-order the regular and subscription covers from them.. 🙂
I check tfaw a lot as they are who I order through. 24 was indeed on their site up until around sunday. This happens from time to time. The amazing spider-man #1 are starting to dry up also as some pre-orders are no longer available.
On a side note of pre-orders disappearing. The Woods #1 from boom! studios is now gone from tfaw. Also the 1-25 variant. They were both there last night.
I order from both TFAW and Lonestar comics. If I can’t find a book on TFAW I will do the link to Lonestar. TFAW has books disappear and reappear all the time.
Yes yes they do come back sometimes. But as the date gets closer to publish, and if they might be a popular book. Sometimes they do not come back. It’s two weeks away still but I’m hopeful this is a good sign for the popularity of the woods. Although I wouldn’t be surprised of it being added back. However I think the 3 spider-man variant #1 that are now gone, won’t be added back.
You’re the best Ant man.
I am pretty sure you are right about those Spider-man books. I am hoping The Woods ends up being big.
I got 4 #1 and 1 25per variant. $$$$$$ tfaw loves me
Amazing spider-man I preorder: 7 young, 5 mahn, 3 blank, 3 connecting b, 3 normal cover, and 3 dodson ultra rare.
I think I have a problem.
TFAW has been loving my wallet lately, especially with pre-orders. I have the ASM pre-ordered.. all the Afterlife Archie Pepoy Variants pre-ordered through them… 🙂
Woods #1 is back up on tfaw for preorder if anyone wanted any.
Yeah, back on April 17th they had them.. http://comicsheatingup.net/2014/04/06/24-1-from-idw-sold-out-a-week-before-release-and-print-run/comment-page-1/#comment-11333
That’s when I placed my order for a few each…
Huh. I thought I linked thru to lone star.
Anybody think Negan dies tomorrow? Yay or nay.
May-be. 😉 I am still kinda wondering if it’s Rick
I think it’s likely Negan will die judging by the way the last issue ended. I don’t think they’re ready to kill of their main character yet. Just my opinion.
Rick dies when the comic ends.. Then Kirkman makes more billions starting Walking Dead 2.0 with that one eyed messed up kid of his leading the way in the zombie world.. 😉
I do not really think that Rick is going to die, but after WD 100 and Invincible 110, I do not put anything past Kirkman.
WD 100? Glenn dying? We all knew that would happen eventually.. I always tell people, no one is safe except Rick. The story is about Rick, it’s not about the zombie apocalypse, not about zombies, not about anyone but one man, who happens to live in the zombie apocalypse and the decisions he has to make. Without Rick, the story just dies. Once Rick dies, the story is over. Spin it off but you can’t continue the Walking Dead without Rick. That’s my opinion but I think Kirkman says things to keep anything out there in the open to tease people but ultimately, I don’t see Kirkman ever killing him, unless it’s the last issue.
Well, nasty throat wound from likely dull blade that’s seen a few infected zombies, no hospitals around or antibiotics to treat such nasty throat wound.. It’s a high probability he’s not going to make it to issue 200.. 😉
I think rick and carl are always safe. Without Carl, rick has no reason to go on. Carl is rick’s conscience. Without Carl, rick has no struggled. I’m excited about the next arc. Can’t wait to see what it all means.
