  1. To those that are trying to sell FCBD comics, I’ve already sold 3 of the 4 Mouse Guard hardcovers I have and a few others. So far Mouse Guard is the hot seller.

  2. How much did you sell them for?
I sold steam wars for 5 and uber for 5 so far.

  3. I got between $7 and $10 for each of the Mouse Guards (All 4 now sold). Also sold a DC Futures End for $4 Guardians of the Galaxy for $6 and Transformers for $4. I Also have 3 copies of the ASM #1 B&W Hastings variant for sale if anyone’s interested…

  4. My LCS also had the free Deadly Class #3 2nd print that I picked up 2 of.

  5. I guess alot of comic stores received very little or even none at all of the Rocket Raccoon comic. This is true for the Pittsburgh/Ohio/West Virginia area. Has anyone else heard this?

      1. The movie is in my top 3 of favorites all time as corny as that might seem to some, others will understand. John Carpenter is so based.
Hope your weekend is going great Anthony!

        1. Thanks man. It has been a blast. Jason Aaron was cool. Talked to Joe Harris for a while about Great Pacific which is a great book and a personal favorite. Chatted up Frank Barbiere from Five Ghosts and White Suits, he is just such a great guy to talk to, and he knows who I am which is always cool to be recognized. Made some great buys and sold a lot of books this weekend. And that was just before noon on Saturday. Got some great family time in, so this weekend is a win all around. Hope you are having a kick-ass weekend too!

    1. Nice! I’ve already sold about half of the various books I got and the rest will probably sell in the next few days I think.

      1. You paid for some? I went around to every place in town and ended up getting like 40 or so free comics!

  6. Anyone try to order free comics from Midtown this morning? The website was slow and seemed to be having problems. By the time I finally managed to get some they were mostly gone. I ended up only getting 6 different issues.

    1. Yup, I tried midtown this morning, had a few in my cart, went to check out and the ones I really wanted were gone. I just dumped the cart as I didn’t want to pay shipping on the rest.

    2. Yeah, I almost said screw it but I had other stuff I was buying so I paid the shipping. For some reason I was having problems paying and then it kept emptying my cart! I got so frustrated I had to walk away for a while.

  7. Yeah, same problem with Midtown. I almost wish comics weren’t popular. It’s the 90’s all over again. Everything is gonna get watered down and all the jolly come lately new comic fans are gonna make it harder for everyone to get stuff. If this was the same time last year, It wouldn’t have been so hard to get that Gamestop variant. They couldn’t hardly give away FCBD issues in the past years, this year it was really difficult. Frustrating.

    1. On one hand it sucks that you can’t get comics, but on the other it’s great if your trying to sell.

    2. I just don’t think it is the 90s again. Also I don’t agree with the statement ‘jolly come lately new comic fans’. Although this might account for some, with population always increase and time always going by, some of these fans are also going to be children coming of age and genuinely interested in the medium.
Titles in the 90s all had print runs like over 500k easy and some had millions and millions printed.

  8. I guess I should consider myself lucky I got what I did. My wife came to all the stores with me so I actually got twice as many. Ended up with over 50 free comics.

    1. I haven’t heard any news on a 2nd printing for #3 which is usually a sign it’s sold out.
