Some things defy logic. I can honestly say I do not get this one but Justice League Adventures #13 seems to have some heat behind it.
Or at least that is what people are telling me, emailing me, and commenting on. Justice League Adventures #13 is the first (and only) appearance of a character called All-Star. Needless to say, cheap copies dried up on eBay and the copies on currently are starting at $20+.
Tread carefully with this one. Not sure if it is a pump and dump, but if you have a copy or two lying around, sell them. If you find one in a quarter bin, go ahead and get it. But do not dump big money in a book that has a first appearance of a character that has not been heard from again.

Staying away from this like the plague…lol…
Me too. Seems like a scam that someone is running, but putting it out there so people know.
it would seem hard to get an entire ebay community behind a fake pump and dump… especially for someone who basically doesnt exist outside this issue.
Rumor has it this started at the CGC message board. No proof to show that it did, but this is an issue that has no reason to have heat on it. 1st-no name character, never to be seen again. 2nd- Has not appeared in the DC universe proper. 3rd- Not a big cosplay community favorite like Livewire.
You would be surprised how easy it is to foment fervor.

Olivia Dawson found the Star-Charm, a small star-shaped amulet that granted her the power of flight and the ability to shoot beams of light at will. When Weaponers of Qward came to the Apex City Observatory, Green Lantern joined up with her, and the rookie managed to impress the experienced Justice Leaguer. As he was called away to Oa, he proposed that she’s take his place while he was gone.
All-Star helped the league with several adventures, but found it hard to combine it with her private life and her school work. When Brainiac attacked Metropolis with a brain-washed Green Lantern Corps, she panicked, and hid inside the Javelin.
When she saw the entire League defeated, she charged Brainiac head-on. Her Star-Charm was destroyed, and though she had to retire as All-Star, the Justice League awarded her honorary membership.
Isn’t there a rare variant of Justice League Adventure #13 that is rising in price? But perhaps not the regular comic.
Toys r us variant
I think it’s a reprint.
I’m going to start buying every DC animated adventure first female app! Lol
That’s not the worst idea if you can grab them for well below cover.
Get two of each.
After the Livewire insanity started my friend and I joked about trying to hype up Roxie Rocket, a female Batman The Animated Series character. Unfortunately her first apperance is Batman Adventures Annual #1, an early Harley cover apperance. It’s already a $30 book.
Garwal, you are correct. I was speculating on this book for two big reasons, you mentioned above. I just don’t get Live Wires’s popularity, other animated heroines should be just as popular. Roxy Rocket, Volcana etc. I still stand on my suspicion that Live Wire was initially a pump and dump by a conspiring group to increase her first appearance, and everyone caught on for no reason at all. She hasn’t had one panel of dialogue in the new 52s as of yet. No connection to any legacy (ie Ravager, Joker’s Daughter etc); yet her first appearance in raw nm is coming awfully close to a raw nm copy of BA #12—unbelievable (just see Ebay). I hope people gain some sense soon.
