CovrPrice.com Runners-Up for 8/16/19

As promised, the Runners-Up list, think of these as the second part of the Top 20. Now then, on to #11-20.

#11 Dead End Kids #1 – We were really pulling for this to hit the Top 10. It was one of the big winners of the week. It sold 77 copies, had a 7-day trend of 85% and had a high raw sale of $46.

#12 The Amazing Spider-Man #361 – Carnage is coming. Venom 2 has found its director with Andy Serkis. Venom 2, with Carnage, can only get nuts. We expect this book to see a big jump when pieces fall together. It sold 45 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102% and had a high sale of $490.90 for a CGC 9.8.

#13 House of X #2 Pichelli Flower Variant– This gorgeous Pichelli Flower variant sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 212% and had a high raw sale of $20.

#14 House of X #1 – is still on the radar. It sold 34 copies, had a 7-day trend of 115% and had a high raw sale of $16.

#15 Batman Last Knight On Earth #2– was a surprising mover as it sold 37 copies, had a 7-day trend of 98% and had a high raw sale of $9.

#16 Thor God of Thunder #2 – There’s more and more talk about Gorr, The God Butcher being featured as the villain in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER. It sold 28 copies, had a 7-day trend of 130% and had a high sale of $113 (9.8). The variant is also selling REALLY well.

#17 Absolute Carnage #1 Artgerm Variant – We were surprised to see Artgerm’s Carnage so low on the list. Yet, it still sold 39 copies, had a 7-day trend of 92% and had a high raw sale of $12.

#18 Wolverine #1 – is starting to see some renewed love. We’ve always thought this was significantly undervalued. It sold 35 copies, had a 7-day trend of 97% and had a high sale of $299 for a CGC 9.8.

#19House of X #2 Larraz Virgin Variant– This was the House of X book to find, and it’s tracking right on ratio, It sold 31 copies, had a 7-day trend of 107% and had a high raw sale of $105.

#20 Absolute Carnage #1 Granov Codex Variant – Granted, Venom Variants are a dime a dozen these days, this was still our favorite for ABSOLUTE CARNAGE, It sold 59 copies, had a 7-day trend of 53% and had a high raw sale of $30.

  1. If the rumors are true I do hope to see Gor as the next Thor movie villain. Could be really good! On top of that “IF” he was to become the movie villain I do think The standard cover is the best one to get. Not saying that because I didn’t buy the 1:50 when it was priced at ratio, but mainly because Gor isn’t on the cover where he is on standard and the second print.
