  1. Too bad they got greedy with Trees #1 rumored to have 50,000 print run. Now they will need to uphold the popular story to build a mega base. I’m ready for more

    1. Something tells me Outcast is going to have a massive print run, so I’m not going to speculate on more than 3-4 copies.

      1. Oh yeah It’s no doubt it should be a massive print run. It has no chance to do what walking dead did being a sleeper with only 7k copies printed. This will have 5-10x that or more.

  2. Read trees #1, it was OK. Not sure if I’ll get #2. Going to read outcast, but probably won’t spec on it. Midtown is still taking orders for manifest 7B. There are going to be tons of then out there, so be careful on this one.

    1. You better get #2 if you know whats good for you! heh JK
Moving onto a serious note I disagree about 7b. Midtown might still have orders for whatever big pre-order number they decided to go with. But I’m thinking by Friday if not Wednesday that these covers will not be available on most sites that do still happen to have them. Even the people on ebay who happen to be doing big number of preorders eventually raised their preorder price to 5$. Also if the print run ends up being around what they were before and i’ll round up to 15k, well that leaves only 7.5k. Most people buying them will be for the collection, not as a reseller. leaving only a few thousand copies around for resale, which also slowly get accumulated into the collectors hands which in turn dries up the available float.
I’m not an expert on how often these two huge artists team up, but i’ll guess not that often, coupled with the cover of a hot book on a hot #7 new story arc, it should have some demand.
I do not think these will end up selling any less than cover for a long time if ever so scooping some more at 15% at midtown might not be so bad of a play.

    2. Trees #2 will get picked up. C.O.W.L. likely will get passed by me. Manifest Destiny 7b has been hyped so I think the world is going to be attempting to flip them and it’ll keep the costs down or at least make it easy to get, perhaps over time depending on the print run and the demand, these might be valuable further down the timeline. I pre-ordered 4 copies and I’ll likely keep it at that (unless I pick one up at the local shop).

    3. The day before release midtown is now sold out of 7b.
      Let the games begin.

      1. same.
On a side note. There is a guy on ebay who presold 280 of these for 2.99 and then finally wised up and changed price and presold 10 for 4.99 lol heuhehuehu
He will have a fun time shipping out this week. You think he would have wised up after the first 100 pre orders. Or just a seller working on incredibly thin margins.
Who knows just something I noticed.

    1. Not in the near term. SAGA is amazing and it will only get a bigger following. Accumulate all you can of issues #10 and below Maybe think about selling 5-10 years from now (or on parabolic spikes if any arise). It is the type of book you will hate to see years from now selling for rather high amounts, when you sold early on for some small profits. This is speculating that it will continue to keep readers interested as it has been doing. Also assuming it will keep going with something like 100+ issues and beyond.
      Saga is the tits nips.
