(Marvel, 2019) So, House of X and Power of X are hot simply because fans are loving it! What a rare concept! Just a solid story and “coming home feel” for our favorite X-Men have helped sell 31 copies, have a 7-day trend of 91% and a high raw sale of $29.99.
#12 House of X #4 (Marvel, 2019) See House of X above. It sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 80% and had a high raw sale of $14.24.
#13 Something Is Killing The Children #1 Chung Variant (Boom! Studios, 2019) This variant was trailing behind several of the other covers. However, this week it caught up a bit and sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 103% and had a high raw sale of $12.50.
#14 The Savage She-Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1980) is slowing down volume-wise with 16 copies sold, yet she continues to have a gamma-filled 7-day trend of 164% and had a high graded sale of $530.
#15 The Joker #1 (DC, 1975) THE JOKER film is getting rave reviews. However, with no source material to chase down, collectors are falling back on this first issue to his original solo series. It sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 176% and had a high sale of $849 for a CGC 9.8.
#16 Powers of X #4 Molina Variant (Marvel, 2019) Yes, more X-love. It sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 91% and had a high raw sale of $19.99.
#17 Powers of X #4 Garcia Variant (Marvel, 2019) These variants may not be bringing in the bacon, but they still sell pretty decently. This one sold 19 copies, had a 7-day trend of 132% and had a high raw sale of $15.
#18 The Sensational She-Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1989) The current iteration of She-Hulk #1 really started with this series. Collectors are turning to this as the more affordable option to The Savage She-Hulk #1. It sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 94% and had a high sale of $169 for a CGC 9.8.
#19 Captain Marvel #1 (Marvel, 2019) This issue has been revealed to be the first appearance of Ripley Ryan, who later becomes STAR. It sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 118% and had a high sale of $48 for a CGC 9.8.
#20 Venom #9 (Marvel, 2018) Fans are loving Dylan Brock and Donnie Cates obviously has big plans for him. His first full appearance in this issue has sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 87% and had a high sale of $200 for a CGC 9.8.

I agree. But the argument has been 9 as first full and this is the one that was moving this week. I have extras of both so I am good either way.
I have multples of both as well but as time goes on im starting to get annoyed with “first full”. First full is a glorified second appearance full stop.
Maybe cgc/cbcs should switch to that terminology in these instances….”first appearance (cameo)” and “second appearance (glorified)”.
Seriously, they could call it “second appearance, first full” and maybe satisfy both arguments… it people would still argue something was wrong with that as well…

Venom #9 is indeed Dylan’s first full app. Its the one that is heating up.
Nice! I have a CGC 9.6 of The Joker #1 (1975). Glad to see it’s worth about 3x more than I paid for it.
Venom #7 has 1 panel of Dylan, it’s a joke and the very definition of the word “cameo”. Venom 7 could have been great, but this pathetic tease character treatment devalues books for the sake of an ancient cliff hanger troupe.
He’s pictured clearly, has dialogue and is named. Still a first appearance. It’s better than Kamala Khan’s first that commands a crap ton of money.

Do you feel proud though? There is a difference in owning and actually “reading” Incredible Hulk 180 or 181, Amazing Spider-Man 299 or 300 that goes far beyond market value and trends. It’s being a fan of the character and having that character actually impact a story rather than “technically” being in the story for an embarrassing amount of time.
Proud? I feel proud when my kids get good grades or when my daughter nails a dance move in dance class. So I’m confused by your question on whether I’m proud or not.
All I did was state a fact about Dylan’s first appearance, cameo, however you want to classify it, it’s still his first appearance. The story teller kept his first appearance brief in a particular issue for the first appearance, the character over time has become more prominent into the story line.. what’s so embarrassing about that? Why does it matter so much? Either enjoy the story or not and forget about the technicalities and terms used for a characters first appearance.
