At the Baltimore Comic con this year I had the chance to speak to a ton of cool people. But the most awesome thing about the convention was meeting with Vivek Tiwary, writer of The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story.
Vivek Tiwary is a multi-time Tony award winning Broadway producer of such shows as Green Day’s American Idiot, Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill, and the Addam’s Family. Vivek is also on the board of directors for Valiant Entertainment (Valiant Comics). The Fifth Beatle , is a biographical graphic novel about the manager of the Beatles, Brian Epstein. Brian pulled the fab four out of dingy clubs and into the limelight.
Vivek is very passionate about the The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story, and comics and music in general. The Fifth Beatle is currently in development for a film that will start filming in 2016. Vivek is also working with Warren Ellis on a TV project.

Thanks to Ryan Franklin for filming, editing, and graphics. (Also for giving up a Saturday and driving hours out of his way to do it.)

I was thankful for the interview. His PR people had contacted us and made the offer.
ya think the graphic novel will ever do well on secondary?
It’s hard to tell. There were three versions of the first prints. Oop graphic novels do well. This is still in print.
