FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering. Here’s a few of the highlights for this week…
Kick this FOC week off with the Marvel titles as it’s a much smaller FOC week from the looks of things….
Slott is pushing the latest Spider-Man #7 and it has a secret spoiler variant that has yet to be revealed or leaked: Spider-Man #7 (Top Secret Spoiler Variant)
Might have to be cautious when the creators start pushing issues like this. They tend to fall flat more often than not but still worthy of checking out.
Planet of the Apes #1 is coming. Long time fan of the original films. Definitely looking forward to this title, hoping for at least an entertaining read. Don’t expect spec or heat for this one.
Planet of the Apes #1 (25 Copy Larroca Variant)
Planet of the Apes #1 (50 Copy Tuska Remastered Variant)
Planet of the Apes #1 (100 Copy Larroca Variant)
The Planet of the Apes #1 (Blank Variant) might be fun to pick up and get commission work done by artists.
It’s a great homage to the classic cover. I’m talking about Amazing Spider-Man #23 (Disney100 Infinity Gauntlet Variant). If you can find the Amazing Spider-Man #23 (100 Copy Disney100 B&W Variant) for cheap, that’s a definite pick up as these will likely appreciate over time for Disney fans and collectors.
I’m a sucker for sharks on covers, so I might be checking out Black Demon Tales #1 (of 3) (Cover A – Jose Melendez) as a potential reader book. Don’t expect any spec or heat for this title, buy to read.
There’s also a 1:10 out there: Black Demon Tales #1 (of 3) (Cover B – 10 Copy Rodriguez)
Digging this Sook cover for Harley Quinn #28 (Cover B – Ryan Sook Card Stock Variant).
