“I’m blown away by how Optimus Primed the audience was for this issue!” said Robert Kirkman. “I did a pun in a press release! Look at me! I never expected our orders to more than double for our 25th issue and to then have to go into multiple printings to meet demand, I’m Decepticonfounded over the whole thing!”
The Energon Universe will never be the same as the Autobots and Decepticons begin the most surprising new chapter in their war on Earth.
Optimus Prime and the remaining Autobots must join forces with unlikely allies in order to protect their adopted planet. But Prime’s next challenge lies closer to home than he ever imagined. And what is the fate of the Decepticons?
“To the surprise of no one, this ground-breaking issue is returning with a new printing thanks to the fans!” crowed Executive Editor Ben Abernathy. “But this issue is just the tip of the iceberg in what—and who—is to come!”
