15 Supernatural #1 – Photo – Virgin Foil (1:15)
There are a lot of demon hunters trending nowadays (looking at you Tanjiro and Huntrix). However, one of the most popular demon hunter duo debuted nearly two decades ago. Sam and Dean first appeared on the CW as hunters of all things that go bump in the night, in the show, Supernatural. Showrunner Eric Kripke did a phenomenal job in balancing the drama and action, so much that the show appealed to a wide variety of audiences. What was originally meant to go on for only 5 seasons ended up continuing for 15 years, spanning 327 episodes. Of course fans of the series were excited to get more stories and collect the photo cover of the iconic brothers. We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $20 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $13.
16 Supernatural #1 – Photo – Foil (1:10)
Both the virgin and trade version of this photo foil cover are relatively close in price point. Fans of Supernatural were more than ecstatic to track down the photo cover of the two actors that portrayed the brothers for almost two decades. The trends with these two covers are extremely close, leaving us to assume that fans are enjoying both covers equally. We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 23% with a high sale of $14 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $10.

In terms of media news, McFarlane’s last appearance at NYCC was his last hints of info at the Spawn movie. McFarlane stated he will no longer be talking about the Spawn movie and instead will wait until he has big news to reveal… which he said could be relatively soon. We tracked 34 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 26% with a high sale of $130 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $24.

The news of Warner Bros being up for sale may have dwarfed other news that week. Some fans may have missed the announcement that WB is planning a new Knightfall series. The comic book Knightfall saga will be explored over the course of multiple animated films. 19 The New Mutants #98 – Rob Liefeld – Regular
Deadpool is also a consistent tenant of our top lists! He was always a popular character but Ryan Reynolds brought Deadpool to the general public and he has since been a mega-star. There isn’t any official news released yet, about Deadpool’s future in the MCU or in Avengers: Doomsday. While we wait, hardcore fans are happily hunting down his first appearance. 20 Marvel Premiere #28
The success of the Werewolf by Night Disney+ special sent the fandom spiraling with speculation. One of the biggest fan theories was that Werewolf by Night was setting up a future for the Legion of Monsters. After all, two of the characters on the team already debuted. However, no future rumors or leaks were ever released about this and the theory phased out. Now, Marvel Zombies is enjoying their success on Disney+ and on Marvel Rivals. The Halloween season may have given this book a resurgence as fans hope to see more of the darker side of the MCU! We tracked 6 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 58% with a high sale of $120 for a Raw FN copy and a current raw NM FMV of $87.
