RUNNERS UP

11 DC All In Special #1 – Daniel Sampere – Regular – Wraparound
Some may not realize, but the Absolute universe didn’t necessarily start with Absolute Batman #1. The triumvirate of Absolute Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman debuted in this issue. It dropped one week before Absolute Batman #1, and was pretty quickly forgotten as Absolute Batman #1 did not hit the ground running, and drama surrounded its release. Now, as the universe continues to expand, we get our first crossover, and the future seems bright. Collectors are revisiting this forgotten key in a big way. We tracked 41 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 15% with a high sale of $282 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $60.

12 Absolute Batman #15 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
Collectors waited patiently for months to get their hands on this book! The buildup was unreal, and when images of Absolute Joker dropped, there was a whole lot of discussion. Not all of it is good, but a lot of optimism is going around for Batman’s greatest foe. With the release of the issue, collectors were pleased, and continue to secure copies as more make their way to the online aftermarket. We tracked 48 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 86% with a high sale of $63 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $10.

13 Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 – James Harren
This iteration of Absolute Batman Annual #1 flew under the radar initially, but has been sticking around in recent weeks. Most eyes were on the Cover B from Dragotta, or the massively successful Cover A from Daniel Warren Johnson. But this book is still stellar, still features Batman breaking a white supremacist’s arm, and the origin of this universe’s Batmobile. It’s all there, at a fraction of the price for those on the hunt! We tracked 8 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 37% with a high sale of $109 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $20.

14 Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow #1 – Gary Frank
We have a Supergirl film on the horizon, with a trailer dropping not long ago. When it was first teased, it was teased as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, with James Gunn pointing to this book as a heavy inspiration. The Woman of Tomorrow has been dropped, but the plan remains the same! After the trailer dropped, collectors began picking up all iterations of this book in a hurry. Surprisingly, this is one of the more affordable variants outside of the Dollar Tree reprints or the blank cover. When collectors get excited, all bets are off, and all covers are game! We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 38% with a high sale of $36 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $33.

15 Absolute Batman #10 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
This issue was quite the turning point for Absolute Batman. Bane V Batman ramps up, some mysteries are solved while more are planted, AND we get the first appearance of Waylon Jones as Absolute Killer Croc. It’s seen a lot of action on the aftermarket the last few weeks, as it’s a solid entry point for those a smidge late to the party without breaking the bank. We tracked 36 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 24% with a high sale of $200 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $42.

16 Absolute Batman #5 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
This is a weird one. As these books were released, the community was under the assumption that this would be a limited series of six issues. Those not super invested grabbed the key first appearances, but many skipped on this issue as it didn’t tout a first appearance. But it is the penultimate issue of the initial “run,” so it has a leg to stand on. It also set up the next “run” quite nicely. It’s a filler for many, but as this series has exploded in popularity, even the “filler” warrants a hefty price tag! We tracked 26 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 23% with a high sale of $200 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $38.

17 Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 – Nick Dragotta
Daniel Warren Johnson’s cover got the majority of attention, but resident artist Nick Dragotta killed this cover as well! The Absolute Batmobile was a point of contention for some, as it’s huge and not very practical. But oh so badass! This issue dives into the origin of the behemoth, and Dragotta pulled no punches on this cover, making it as imposing to our eyes as it is in our minds. We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 23% with a high sale of $40 for a Raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $30.

18 Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 – Daniel Warren Johnson – Regular
This is the one! Daniel Warren Johnson was cooking with this cover, revealing the stakes from jump street. Absolute Batman vs a band of white supremacists, what could go wrong? Oh, a broken arm, maybe, or other various forms of bodily harm. The amount of discussion this book kicked off was insane, and typically had the picture of this cover nearby in the corresponding headline. It’s the cover most associated with this issue, and that’s a major reason why it’s trending higher than other iterations of this book, outside of Daniel Warren Johnson’s other cover. We tracked 88 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 17% with a high sale of $51 for a Raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $40.

19 Absolute Wonder Woman #1 – Dan Panosian (1:25)
Dan Panosian is a hot commodity in the comic world these days, and his talents were put to use on this cover! As mentioned many times, sentiment toward the Absolute Universe was lukewarm out of the gate at best, and that’s for Batman no less. Wonder Woman was much the same, with many collectors opting to skip. That extended to LCS, with many not ordering enough to hit the ratio. Now, with the Batman/Wonder Woman crossover issue, all bets are off. Collectors are snagging up copies left and right, and that includes this stellar 1:25! We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 9% with a high sale of $150 for a Raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $133.

20 Stranger Things #1 – Kyle Lambert – 2019 SDCC – Glow In The Dark
Stranger Things was pretty popular when it came out, but it was not the worldwide sensation it finds itself today. This book dropped the month before season 2 aired, when sentiment was pretty low. It fell into that weird ebb and flow between first trailer and release, where collector attention shifts wildly. After season two dropped, fan sentiment was at its lowest. And that’s when this variant for SDCC dropped, the summer after season two aired. Many collectors likely avoided the lines for this variant, leading to low availability on the aftermarket. Now, with the conclusion of the series, we’re seeing collectors revisit all the Stranger Things tie-in products, including this killer variant! We tracked 9 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 10% with a high sale of $390 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $11.
