RUNNERS UP
11 ABSOLUTE BATMAN #2 – DAN PANOSIAN | DC | NOVEMBER 2024
Considering this book features the first appearance of Absolute Edward Nygma, Oswald Cobblepot, Harvey Dent, and a brief cameo of Selina Kyle, it’s no surprise to see it sticking around these lists! But what we are seeing is the variety in covers. As collectors shift their attention, there are still those wanting whatever cover they can get on these Absolute Batman titles. This cover from Dan Panosian is seeing some attention and is steadily gaining ground on Cover A. We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 19% with a high sale of $35 for a raw NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $23.
12 PUNISHER: RED BAND #5 – DOALY (1:25) | MARVEL | JANUARY 2026
Holy cow, this 1:25 variant from Doaly featuring Kingpin blew the doors off the aftermarket! Many collectors steer clear of Marvel Red Band titles, as they feel they may not go all the way. This Punisher series is testing the boundaries, but this cover throws said boundaries out the window. A blood-stained Punisher logo draped over the shoulders of NYC’s most vigilant villain. What a show, and collectors showed up for it big time! We tracked 31 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 19% with a high sale of $39 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $30.
13 ABSOLUTE BATMAN #6 – NICK DRAGOTTA – REGULAR | DC | MARCH 2025
Of all the Absolute Batman early issues, this one has seen the smallest amount of aftermarket traction. Initially planned as the stopping point for the series before it was expanded, it did reveal the second cameo of this Joker, and revealed a smidge more about him in the epilogue. It’s the forgotten child of the series, but now graded copies are starting to hit the market in force, causing ABM fans to hit the aftermarket once again to fill out the run. We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 14% with a high sale of $140 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $39.
14 ABSOLUTE BATMAN 2025 ANNUAL #1 – NICK DRAGOTTA | DC | OCTOBER 2025
Daniel Warren Johnson’s cover for this book stole the limelight on release, but this cover from series regular Nick Dragotta has been gaining traction! This book features the origin of the Absolute Batmobile, one we were all dying to find out, considering it’s literally a piece of construction equipment. Considering all the initial fervor for the DWJ cover, this version has been much easier to find and continues to be for aftermarket hunters. We tracked 11 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 26% with a high sale of $85 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $41.
15 EXQUISITE CORPSES #1 – MICHAEL WALSH – REGULAR | IMAGE | MAY 2025
James Tynion has been on an absolute tear, with this series being one of the most recent to reportedly get a film adaptation. Heck, since it hit the shelf at the LCS, it’s been a hot book with “optioned” rumors circling. It continues to be steady on the aftermarket, as it could be some years before we actually see the project land, much like The Beauty. That hasn’t stopped collectors from continuing to secure copies. We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 3% with a high sale of $50 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $36.
16 ACTION COMICS #645 – DIRECT SALES | DC | AUGUST 1989
This book popped up on aftermarket sale lists across the internet once it was rumored that Maxima could appear in the upcoming Superman sequel. Maxima represents the Almerac, and searches the galaxy for a mate to repopulate her world, IE, Superman. Since that rumor began to circulate, this book has doubled in cost on the aftermarket! We tracked 16 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 34% with a high sale of $35 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $15.
17 ABSOLUTE BATMAN 2025 ANNUAL #1 – GERALD PAREL | DC | OCTOBER 2025
Another aftermarket special! With the majority of eyes on the DWJ and Nick Dragotta covers, this version has flown a bit under the radar. That gives collectors the chance to add this to the PC and a chance at owning a stellar cover from Gerald Parel. We tracked 6 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 16% with a high sale of $35 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $28.
18 ABSOLUTE BATMAN #7 – NICK DRAGOTTA – REGULAR | DC | APRIL 2025
ABM took a dark turn with this one, introducing Absolute Victor Fries Jr., AKA Mr. Freeze. Delivered with a killer cover, fans really began to take notice of the series around this time. As the first issue taking place after the initial run was supposed to end, the team behind ABM delivered a great issue that has had collectors hunting for it since. We tracked 18 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 24% with a high sale of $60 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $49.
19 ABSOLUTE MARTIAN MANHUNTER #1 – JAVIER RODRIGUEZ – REGULAR | DC | MARCH 2025
While Absolute Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman have dominated the group of Absolute titles, you can’t forget about Martian Manhunter. Arguably the most “out there” of all the Absolute titles, it’s developed quite a following as collectors look to expand their interests. AMM has a lot going on for it, including some of the most visually stunning interior art, and is experiencing a healthy aftermarket. We tracked 19 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 19% with a high sale of $21 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16.
20 THE OMEGA MEN VOL 1 #3 | DC | FEBRUARY 1983
This book is the first appearance of Lobo, and it’s been hot for some time since it was initially rumored that Lobo would appear in the upcoming Supergirl film, and he’d be played by Jason Momoa. Then it was confirmed, set leaks followed, a teaser, and now some behind-the-scenes type looks of Momoa in all his Lobo glory. Lobo is a fan favorite, and there is a large portion of the community chasing this book to add to their PC. We tracked 34 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of + 3% with a high sale of $360 for a raw NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $107.
