The Hollywood Reporter had the exclusive that the adaptation of Hoax Hunters is moving forward.

The adaptation of comic Hoax Hunters is moving forward, with Agents of SHIELD writer-consulting producer Craig Titley tapped to pen the script.

Don Murphy (Transformers) is attached to produce with Heavy Metal principles Jeff Krelitz and David Boxenbaum.
Created by Michael Moreci and Steve Seeley (the brother of Hack/Slash creator Tim Seeley), the comic focuses on a group of paranormal investigators who debunk mysteries for a TV show called Hoax Hunters. But in reality, the hunters are working hard to cover up and keep the world’s dark forces secret.

Copies of Hoax Hunters #1 go for between $20 and $30 at its highest. While Hoax Hunters Vol. 2 #1 is selling out, but still can be picked up for cover or less. The new series is published by Heavy Metal, which will also be producing.

  1. Might be worth mentioning their first appearance in Hack/Slash Vol 2 #1. Has a cover A and B with B seems to be more rare or desirable.
